Motel 6 Wisconsin Rapids WI

The room was clean, and they changed the towels each day and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk person was very nice. Lot of parking available. We stayed with our dogs, and they had an area for us to walk the dog

This was the nastiest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Mold on shower ceiling and shower head, filthy tub and NO hot water (not even warm). Non smoking room wreaked of smoke. Clothes stunk when I got home after one night stay. Whole property smelled like bad food reheated in microwave. No screen on first floor room so window couldn't be left open to air out the place. Bed lumpy, sheets old and smelly. Remote control had dried ketchup on it, floor and counter surfaces were sticky, I don't think they understand the basics of house keeping. Wouldn't stay there again if it was free!

This is the second time we have stayed at this location and had hoped it would be better then the first time, it was not. The room is TECHNICALLY clean, but not what I would call well cleaned. The front desk staff is just seems bored and has no desire to interact with the guests (didn't even great us any of the times we came nor said a word as we were leaving).

Room smelled, linens very old and riped in places. bath tub filthy. no screens on window so could not air out the rooom. electrical outlets pull out of walls when go to unplug charger. note on mirror said linens changed every 3 days HAHAHAHA no such thing. One day took dirty towels and left us with one wash cloth. frig worked, not sure about microwave didn's look like plug in could handle both. Had asked for first floor room and when booked 10 months ago, and was told could not accomdate as a co was renting the floor but yet others who booked after us got first floor. Scary place. wish I woulld have taken pictures of electrical scary.

Cheap option if you don't need much in the way of comfort or cleanliness. Dirty vibe as soon as you enter the lobby. The rooms have a cold, uninviting vinyl sticker flooring over a hard sub floor. Bare bones amenities, very outdated look/design. Floor was very dirty, mold on the ceiling above the shower, refrigerator in room was not working. Stains all over the bedding and a very uncomfortable mattress.You get what you pay for here, so dont expect much. Positives: close to downtown
