Days Inn by Wyndham Stoughton WI.

This hotel is a dump. Pool is permanently closed. Room was dirty and bedspreads had questionable stains. There was part of a lollipop stuck to one of the supposedly clean sheets. There were dryer sheets in the air vents, presumably to cover some sort of smell. Bathroom was not clean. We slept in our clothes. Had a two night reservation but checked out first thing in the morning. We will not be back.

Absolutely horrible. We first got there it looked pretty run down, figured out pretty quickly that the side doors to enter the hotel don't lock so my entire stay I felt unsafe. On top of that the rooms were DISGUSTING. Hair in the fridge and showers, lights flickered and filled with dead bugs etc. I could have looked past all of this if it wasn't for 2 things, the price was unreasonable for a 2 night stay in such conditions, almost $300. The worst of it tho was when me and my boyfriend were getting ready for check out. As we were getting our stuff together and making sure we weren't leaving anything behind, my boyfriend found someone else's dirty boxers, socks, and condoms behind a little bench where we had my dogs stuff. I would have preferred staying in my car for two nights than in that hotel ever again.

We stayed here last year and returned because of Amy's friendly and helpful service. The location is perfect. The hotel could use a renovation, but other than that it is perfect for our needs and everyone loves the breakfast.

Last minute trip, front desk was friendly, pool was not in service , needs to be updated. Room was pretty clean, bathroom was not as clean. There was trash in the trash can, there were cob webs on he ceiling and the floor and the shower head sprayed all over. The continental breakfast was basic, yogurt, coffee, cereal and waffle maker. The day we checked into the hotel there were terrible storms, the power went out but was quickly restored with in an hour due to the diligence of the front desk person! Very close to a Walmart , Aldi , Dunkin Donuts and other shops and gas stations.

The pool on this property has been out of service for at least 2 years with seemingly no plan of fixing it. That area has been turned into a storage room. it was not a big deal for us as we had plenty to do in our two days of stay around town, but why advertise an amenity when it does not exist. The property has no security. The doors of the building are opened at all times for everyone to walk right in. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
