Microtel Inn by Wyndham Onalaska La Crosse

did not like my room, seem small, too many mirrors in the room, hard to see the t/v, bed hard if you like that, I don't think i will stary there Agin,i wish they had some hot food for breakfast, install of cold food. i really like staying there before, but something change,

My first room smelled badly of heavy, fresh cigarette smoke. The second room I got smelled of urine. The toilet rocked and leaked when it flushed. I disinfected and cleaned the room with Lysol myself since it was too late to relocate again. The bed is 5 years past it's replacement condition. The hallway floors were stained and dirty. The outside grounds had 12 inch deep grass and trash across the parking lot. Never again !

We booked this room on a Saturday night for about $90. It is easy to see the hotel from Highway 90 but just a little tricky to get to. It is three stories with an elevator so keep that in mind as you request a room. The staff at the front desk was friendly and our online reservation was accurate. The grounds and facility were clean. It was a smaller room with a queen size bed but adequate for a one-night stay. There was a window bench for sitting. R=There was a desk with a chair. The room had a minifridge with a freezer section. There was a self-contained bathroom. There was a hairdryer. Breakfast was toastable pancakes or French toast with hard boiled eggs along with other continental offerings. The internet was free reliable and accessible. There was a walkable Arby's nearby. The hotel was quiet even though crowded and located near the highway. There was a safe in the room.

It wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve been in and it smelled a bit weird but it was the only place I could find a vacancy near La Crosse that night. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet overnight.
