Oh, just a wonderful experience! Sike! Not only did my car magically vanish while I was staying here, but the GM had the nerve to claim it was repossessedâhilarious, right? My car was STOLEN. The hotel had a tow truck pick up my vehicle because I had not signed a registration card, and they werenât sure whose car it was. Then claiming not knowing who took it saying it was repossessed. And letâs not forget the little attempt to sneak in an early check-in fee, even after the night auditor assured me I wouldnât be charged. Truly top-tier service! So, if youâd rather keep your car safe and avoid an all-around disaster, I highly recommend steering clear of this place. Edit After Response From Hotel: Wow what an unprofessional response from a General Manager! Oh, where to begin with this circus! First off, Iâve had more professional service at a drive-thru. Heads up, my bankâs already on this one, since apparently weâre playing the âdispute chargesâ game now. And just to be clear, my car wasnât towedâit was stolen. Thatâs right, stolen. When I asked the GM to check the security footage, she ghosted me like last seasonâs fashion trends. Please look into the employee rate. Iâve explained EVERYTHING to EVERYONE I needed to explain it to. Jokes on you. Not everyone is a lying hypocrite like you. Between the shady billing practices, the nonchalant response to theft, and a GM with the bedside manner of a cactus, Iâd say this place is a goldmine of terrible experiences. By the way, I left my phone there, but since Iâd rather not step foot in that disaster again, my momâs coming to pick it up. Judging by the hotelâs glorious array of one-star reviews, looks like this isnât exactly news. Hereâs a tip: customer service means serving the customer, not scamming them. Real cute how all of a sudden I post this and the crackhead GM is able to somehow show footage of my car. What a real coincidence. Get it together lady. Update On Car: Oh, fantastic newsâI finally located the towing company that snagged my car. Just as I suspected, the hotel had it towed, despite their Oscar-worthy performance of no idea what couldâve happened. So, heads up: if youâre bold enough to stay here, make sure you fill out every single detail on that precious registration card and give them your car info. Otherwise, youâll be left dealing with your car gone and a front desk thatâs apparently just as clueless as it pretends to be. Looks as if this RECORD they have of never having a car towed has changed.

I really canât say enough about how pleased our family was with our stay at The Holiday Inn Express in Onalaska, WI. During the past couple of years we have not traveled or stayed in any Hotels or Motels. My first contact with the Hotel was on the phone with an employee Alice. She was an employee at the Hotel and not a call center. She was wonderful to speak with, and when I asked if there were any discounts. Alice said she was able to get me signed up for a discount for frequent visitors. This was my second choice for a hotel. But, after talking to a receptionist at another local Hotel/Conference Center. I just didnât feel comfortable about booking there. It was a good feeling to check into the Hotel, and talk and see the same lady that I had talked to on the phone. The parking lot was clean and had more than enough parking space. The Hotel is located on a street that has limited local traffic. But, is located not far from a TARGET, and lots of eating places, and is a very short drive to LaCrosse University. The room we had was $188 for two Queen Beds and a pull-out couch. The room was modern, with a large TV. And a very large picture window, facing south on the 5th Floor. We even woke up to a large Rainbow out the window. The room was very clean, with only one small problem. But, the front desk quickly fixed the issue. There was a pool that we never used. Breakfast was great. There were plenty of hot items. It wasnât lacking for anything. Plus there was a great place to eat, and it looked as if there would be a good place to eat outside after construction is done in this space. There were also a couple of attendants there to take care of this space. This was a real value. If we had to have taken my family to a restaurant to eat, this would have been about $70. We were in for a Funeral, and this hotel was worth it, we would stay there again if we were in LaCrosse. I was traveling with my wife, and several of our adult children. Hope to stay again if we return to town.

Top tier hotel in this area. Newer and modern facility where everything is clean and neat. Workout room, pool, tub, and probably the best hotel breakfast Iâve had in a 3 week road trip. Check in was easy and efficient with LaDonna who was friendly and professional. That attitude carried over to all the staff members I encountered. Comfortable room and slept great. Highly recommended place to stay.
