TownePlace Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Oak Creek

Stayed here for 4th of July extended weekend. This hotel being 3 years old blew my mind how clean it was and how friendly the staff was. Our son used the fitness center which was great size and had all equipment. The kitchenette in the suite is very nice and clean. The hotel smelled clean. Every staff member we encountered said hello. The location was perfect -walk to grocery, restaurants and shops and a wetlands trail all right off the parking lot of this hotel.

Nice walkable area, twas a great stay. I used SNA to upgrade to 1bedroom suite, it was cozy but very nice. Couple of restaraunts within a very short walk, Starbucks, grocery store. There was a shuttle bus parked in front of hotel, but there is no airport shuttle available. Parking is free.

I stayed here with my Family as a Stay Cation trip for my children for Spring Break. Staff was friendly, lobby was clean and staff was inviting. We stayed here so the kids could swim and have a nice hotel experience. Upon arrival we noticed the room looked old. Very surprising because we have lived in the area since before the hotel was built so we expected new hotel, new furniture and a clean room, we were wrong. There was dirt and dust all over the lamps and lamp shades. The windows and window coverings were filthy and old. I was afraid to sit on the chair in the room it was stained and dirty and had a weird smell to it. Not sure our room was even cleaned. The floor was dirty carpet was stained and their were candy rappers behind the chair as well. Bathroom was moderately cleaned. The tub had some weird red paint stained in and around the tub. I was very disappointed seeing that the hotel is Farley new and seems to be run down already. Staff has the best of intentions and we’re kind but this hotel disappointed us we couldn’t wait to get back home to a house that we knew for sure was cleaned. Rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly before a guest checks in. Carpet needs to be cleaned, furniture needs to be cleaned and updated. On the outside this place looks stunning but on the inside one could be convinced it was a motel 6 and not in the Marriott family. I had high hopes for this place but was left disappointed.

I stayed at this hotel and was down the line for a Marriott. There were a few misses in the hotel room, the first one was a wash cloth hanging from the shower head and the box of tissues were missing (the tissue holder for the box was there, but no to tissues). The room looked cleaned and was comfortable. Besides the couple of things everything else was great.

I really like this hotel ,Clean nice friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel if your in the area. You are walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Not too far from downtown and really close to the airport.
