It is hard to see the motel when you exit interstate 90 as it is on a side road next. Thankfully we spotted it from the highway as all other lodging on previous exits were booked. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed is comfortable. Price was reasonable. The room had a small frig. A good place to stop for an overnight stay.

We love to support the little local motels and enjoy being able to park just outside our door. This place is as neat as a pin! A great value for a quick overnight stay. Nothing fancy but very quaint and had everything we needed. Wish we had come through in the summertime because it had a nice little pool. We got take out from the Chinese food place that was connected to the Shell station and it was great! All around an excellent stop.

The owner/manager whatever he is is a jerk. There were spiders and ants in the bathroom. The sofa in the room was disgusting. The towels were 100 yrs old. There was no hot water in the room. We had to cut our trip short because of tornadoes in our home town and the whatever he is was not willing to work with us on cancelling our second night stay. Please do not stay here!!! If I could I would give it a 0.

I stayed here recently and found the rooms to be very reasonable, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows. The owner is very nice and was helpful. The property is older (70's) but is clean and the room was well kept. It's located just off hwy 90/94 so it was easy to get in and out and there are 2 gas stations close by along with a McDonald's and another restaurant in one of the gas stations.

The sink and bathroom was very clean. The outside was kind of cute, but those are about the only good things I can say. All but one of the things wrong with it could be fixed for a total of about $20 and 10 minutes work per room. It was a very depressing room and though it wasn't filthy, there were certain things that were gross, which I will relay below. There were four hairs, all different kinds, in the fridge. Not something I can't live with, but kind of gross, and I expect more for the price. The fact that it was four different hairs means it had been a while since any cleaning person had checked in there. There was some transparent piece of gunk on the bedspread. (Not sure if it was hard or soft, because I didn't touch it.) The employee/owner at the desk was not friendly. (Not rude, but acted like I was an annoyance. Didn't even tell me the room # or where it was, just handed me the key and said nothing.) The lights were too dark during the day, and too white and glaring at night (very depressing). It absolutely stunk of perfumed soap and air freshener, making it seem dirty. The TV was up close to the ceiling (unnecessarily), requiring neck contortions to see it. Even though the motel was less than half-full, they put 3 of us right next to each other. (Why?) The price is higher than the Super 8s I've been to. If it were $39, then it would be about what I would expect, but it was $89. Big ripoff. The WiFi was slow, but usable for basic things. The owners could spend just a little time and effort and fix most of these things, and make it cute and welcoming, but the overall impression was that they hated running this place and I hated being there. Bonus: No grout at all between bathtub and vinyl flooring, which was curled up, which means there is a good chance there is mold or mildew under it.
