Clarion Pointe Racine Mount Pleasant

The staff was very friendly, but the room wasn’t ready when we arrived. We drove around for 1/2 hour, and it was ready when we got back. When I went to put things in the refrigerator, there was plates of half eaten food in there. After throwing it away, I wanted to microwave some food and there was a plate of old food in there as well. There was also a big spot of something on the floor between the beds. The only reason we didn’t ask for another room was we were beat, and just wanted to sleep. When we arrived home after the trip, I checked my bank account and saw a $200.00 charge from Clarion for dog damage. I couldn’t believe it. They wouldn’t return my calls regarding this charge, so I disputed it at my bank,and won. I’m thinking this is a common occurrence at this motel since they never responded to my calls, and didn’t even try to inquire about it. Sleep here at your own risk!!

Was charged 100$ for spilling food on floor. Place is a dump. Would not recommend to anyone. Will be disputing charges. Definitely will never be going back. Just horrible. And refrigerater was never plugged in before I got to my room so all my food went bad.

This place is gross!! Trash in our room from over a month ago. My brother went to sit in a chair to put his shows on and the chair broke. He already had issues getting around and they told him he needed to pay 500 dollars for the chair and called the police on him. After the police told them they are lucky if my brother doesn’t sue them. They then waited and returned the broken chair to the hotel room. Why would they not move it to the back room 🤔. I’m telling you this place is shady and will rip you off given an opportunity.

This place was pretty awesome for a small town hotel. Although I was sad there was no pool. The breakfast was fantastic as was the front desk staff. Also, I really appreciated the availability of a computer for guest use. That mostly made up for no pool !!
