Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee North Glendale

Don’t stay here, the place is under remodel and they never told rain the booking process. They put us in a newly renovated area of the hotel but the room was very dysfunctional. Heater wasn’t working, no water pressure. Caulking and mud in shower and mirrors. The lights didn’t all work in bathroom. After freezing on first night I requested a room change the next day. They couldn’t accommodate on a 4 night stay so I had to tough it out. Breakfast was a joke and they let all the construction crew in to eat with us so very crowded. Avoid it as it feels like operator does bare minimum and has very little concern for guests .

Upon check in you must pay a $50.00 daily incidental fee in addition to your stay. What hotel does this??? None in addition the rooms are outdated, coffee is not a Keurig in room. Old and non operational. Plus, management is terrible. Do Not Stay at this hotel.

For us, great location and it's easy access to highway. Rooms are standard Residence Inn. However, the breakfast is pretty substandard. When this location first opened a few years ago* it was fine. Now, they took away yogurt, no wheat toast (or any toast), the coffee is getting progressively weaker. Good thing the rooms have a fridge and cooktop and microwave and there's grocery store in walking distance. Other issues: asked for extra pillows, which came without pillowcases! And there was only 1 roll of TP in the bathroom. The shower drained very slowly. So, rooms are ok coz the facility is new but management and maintenance feel cheap, even if friendly. Good price though.

I have stayed at a lot of Marriott Bonvoy properties but I have never in my entire life experienced customer service as exceptional as this hotel! From the second Glenda checked us in, she treated us like family! She was welcoming, friendly, knew the rest of our family by the time we got there, tried to accommodate staying near each other and greeted us warmly each time we were in the lobby. At one point, she overheard me sharing with a family member that our room seemed dark and I heard her call over the radio to deliver an additional lamp to our room!!! I didn’t even have to ask! Like, what? As my family and I walked to the elevator to go to our room upon arrival, the sweetest lady from the housekeeping staff warmly welcomed us, wished us a great trip and told us she was happy we were there! And Mika was equally fun and hilarious on the night shift! We looked forward to seeing her when we were in the lobby. Your breakfast area staff were helpful and so accommodating! And the rooms were spacious, clean; and well equipped! Our stay was for a trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Staff was friendly, but rooms need to be renovated. My room was spacious but smelled like the carpet needed cleaning. The furniture was not new. Parking was easy and a few fast food spots were not too far away. Breakfast was standard. Service team was fast to respond to repair requests.
