Hampton Inn & Suites Madison West

Room was very clean and updated. Used the laundry facility, it was clean also, good working equipment. The free breakfast was Great with many options to choose from. Small snack shop had quick grab goodies. Lobby/main level is floor 2, so if you want main level with no elevator use, select a room on 2nd floor

Lots of hotels in this area which I think is near lots of medical facilities. Hotel was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Lots of options for restaurants nearby. Also tons of DoorDash options. I would definitely choose this location again

My wife and I attended the season Badger game. We chose this hotel based on location and that it was a Hilton chain. Check-in was easy and seamless. Our room did not meet our standards. It had a musty smell, and the carpet was not very clean. The furniture could definitely use updating. It was worn and beat up. The beds were just okay. The morning breakfast was good. Overall, we will choose a different property for next year.

Didn’t feel clean. Comforter smelled. Pillows dirty. Mattresses worn. Carpet felt like it had a film on it. Glad we were only there one night. But yet thankful for a bed on a long road trip. If you want a room on ground floor book floor 2, as this is the floor you enter at (for front desk).

This may be the worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at. We booked a king room and we got a small bizarrely laid-out, dark dingy room towards the end of the hall. We felt so light deprived. It was quite depressing. The bathroom fan didn't work. There was a small broken refrigerator (door to the cabinet with the fridge was off the hinges), no microwave and a small coffee maker behind the bathroom door in a very small nook. You can only make coffee in the bathroom with the bathroom door closed. The Bathroom did not have a bathtube, a shower, with doors that did not slide easily We looked into a few other rooms that house keeping was cleaning and the other rooms looked more normal in size and more well lit. After the fact we realized we should have complained immediately about our room. We went out to dinner one night came back and our room keys no longer worked (infact they would no work to even get into the hotel through the back entrance). It took 20 minutes for the hotel personnel to restore access to our rooms , no apology. When we checked out and told the staff about our experience, all they said was ,"have a nice day". No apology or attempt to show sympathy. It really was the worse Hampton Inn we have ever experienced. We definitely felt like we did not get our moneys worth. Plenty of other places to stay near by, next time we are in town to see our daughter we will fore sure find another place. Very dissatisfied!!! We stayed 3 nights, in hindsight we should have demanded a newroom or discount.
