Comfort Suites Madison West

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. What more could you ask? The front desk staff was very helpful and very friendly. That is a refreshing change from places I've travelled. The breakfast is outstanding. I love the waffle maker. Interesting twist is the small waffles rather than one large one. Less waste.

I booked this hotel a couple of hours before staying here. I decided to stay here because of the price and I knew that I would get a bigger room than a regular hotel room. When I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist. I stood on the first floor close to the pool. Everything was great. I was able to relax when I got there. The evening leading up to the closing of the pool was a whole different story. Normally, the pools close by 10pm in any hotel so people can sleep. This pool closes at 11pm. Somehow, there was a pool/birthday party going on. I was ready to change rooms. I couldn't sleep because every child was out in the hallway talking or practically screaming in the pool area. Parents waited until 11pm to take out their child out of the pool. I was overly exhausted and wanted to sleep. I put the constant fan on my heater so I can drain out the noise since I had my dog with me. My dog behaved better than these children. Finally I got to sleeping and then at 1am I took off the constant fan and that was a bad idea because I heard the child in the next room talking loud and the mother was talking loud too. I was like really. You need to sleep already. I turned my fan back on and finally went back to sleep. Other than that, breakfast was your normal continental breakfast. By the time I left, the control in my room (#1035) wasn't working. It never had a cover on the back and the batteries looked like they needed to be changed. Overall, I would come back but I will make sure I am away from the pool area and on a different floor so I can get a good night's sleep.

Pet friendly. Clean. Staff friendly. Free parking. Breakfast typical of chain hotel. Hotel is fine for short stay at current price point. Cons: No water bottles or body wash in room. Walls paper thin. Didn’t need to hear people having sex and people walking around all night.

Okay stay - enjoyed the evening event and gave space to visit with family staying in the hotel. Room was a bit tight for us being 6 in the room. But this allowed us a good option for our budget and easy to get on the road to visit the Dells.

Staff was was exceptionally helpful and kind. The front desk employees were extremely friendly when greeting you. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, because my child had just missed breakfast and they went and grabbed everything he needed to make a waffle. Enjoyed the pool, hot hot, Air hockey, and 18+ slot machines.
