Stay was interrupted by the festival going on thru the weekend. We were told about the shutting down of the street at 6 am Saturday the day we were leaving. Oh we could find a place off sight to park our car, leave before 6 am or check out Saturday and hang around till 2 pm and leave. There's only 1 way out and that was onto the closed street. We got told this on the 24th driving up an hr away. We had called the hotel days before but this issue was never mentioned. So our trip was cut short, nothing but a sorry. The room was comfortable,friendly staff and good location. Just piss poor communications on this candlewood suites mgr.

Iāve had a TERRIBLE experience with this hotel!! I made reservations for two rooms on January 23rd, 2024 and the hotel canceled them for NO REASON. My family and I were coming into town from May 31st-1st for the State Track Competition which is a couple weeks away now. I called immediately and they said that it was canceled on the hotels end and itās now sold out!! Iām sooo very angry. This is nasty business! š Of course all other hotels are sold out as well. IHG and this Candlewood suites either gave my rooms to a group or relisted them at higher price for more money. Theyāve given me no other reason! They already price gouge and now they give away rooms to make even more money. Way to take advantage of your customers!

I called ahead to make sure our room had a pullout couch and was told yes. We got there and they told us rooms do not have pullout couches. Luckily they had a rollaway. Toilet kept running all night and heater in room didnāt work.

Very spacious rooms with full kitchens. Newly remodeled and clean. Friendly front desk staff. A great value for the price. Located near to downtown La Crosse. Some shopping and numerous restaurants located nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

There was an overflowing trash can in the closet, the door deadbolt didn't work and the top latch on the door was loose. The 2nd day had to get the front desk to unlock the door.Hotel was kinda dirty.
