Motel 6 Janesville WI

The front desk person was very rude when I had a problem also the housekeeper knocked we screamed just a minute but would not wait if i did not use the the door lock he would have came in the room the door opened enough that he could see my kids sleeping it scared the heck out of them they where to scared to sleep that following night and after I get to the door and has the nerve to ask if I want room service mind you we checked in the night before

The front desk guy, Julius, was very polite and friendly. The room was clean. The bedding was clean. The bed was very firm. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The a/c worked but the temperature didn’t seem to sync up with the number so we had to mess with that a little to get our desired temp. Very basic room. Coffee provided in a common area in the mornings. I’d be ok staying here again as long as I had my husband with me. I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here by myself because it’s a motel and all room entrances are on the outside. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Room was clean but had a strong smell of cleaning fluid. Matress must have been 20 years old. Bad nights sleep. 90. Dollars a night I was very disappointed. Check your room and mattress before you check in.

I dont usually do reviews but I thought to myself "what the heck". This motel definitely deserved it. This motel actually exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were polite and welcoming. After a long day of business entering the hotel was like my home away from home. Whether its business or pleasure I would recommend this motel to anyone!! Dont cheat yourself, treat yourself to this motel 6 in Janesville, WI.... -C.Johnson-

After a 10 hour drive I decided to pull off the road when the sun started to come down, as I always do. I'm a solo female driver who travels for work. I made the choice of staying at the Motel 6 based on the previous nights stay at the Motel 6 in Erie, PA. I thought I could make staying at that chain some sort of "thing". I was wrong. When I pulled up I saw a bunch of people hanging around outside, which I thought was suspicious. I parked and asked the front desk agent about pricing, and also if all the people where "locals" or fellow travelers. She responded that the motels guests were mainly comprised of locals (essentially the owner operates as an apartment building), she herself having had lived there. I asked her if I was safe, and if my car would be broken in to. She said no. The people were sketchy, many to a room, loud music playing. Going against my better instincts I booked the room, as I was tired. As soon as I walked in the smell of mold consumed me. The beds had been slept in, and the sheets thrown back on. Or, someone had been hanging out in the room. None of the dressers were wiped, and there was crud along the bed. It was filthy, and I didn't feel safe. I went to the front desk at demanded a refund. Tessa was very helpful. She refunded my money, and helped me book a room at the Baymont, 1 Exit south on the Interstate. I HIGHLY recommend staying there instead. Please see attached pictures.
