Holiday Inn Express Eau Claire West I 94 an IHG Hotel

Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and included all the cookware needed if we had wanted to save money and prepare our own meals. The complimentary microwave popcorn was a nice touch! We didn't try the sofa bed so no feedback to share on that. Our only complaint was light pollution from multiple digital displays and safety devices but that's just us being OCD about darkness, the shades did a nice job of blocking outside light. Our room was accessible so the bathroom door was oversized and a little awkward. The body wash dispenser wasn't filled all the way and they forgot the bath mat but we let the front desk know and they addressed both right away. Staff was great, super nice and very responsive. The ladies setting up breakfast were fantastic. Some of the hot breakfast items are prefab, they're not necessarily cooking on site but they have real sausage links instead of brown & serve which is nice for a change. The silver dollar pancake machine is a fun addition. Oatmeal is instant in packets, no toppings to dress your own but there's fresh fruit and Greek yogurt so overall a nice selection, including plant-based milk options. The hot tub was closed the first day of our stay and was busy after that so we didn't go in. It was small but looked well kept. People coming out with wet shoes made for a messy hallway and bathroom down there but that's nearly impossible to keep up with. Overall an excellent value and we would stay here again if in this area.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, and will definitely return next time we are in Eau Claire. The rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was exceptional. The fitness room was clean, well maintained, and very well appointed -- a big plus for me! Also, the tasty breakfast was included (a must for me) and had the usual options with good variety to either eat healthfully or not, your choice! The breakfast staff were very nice and attentive, and kept the area immaculate, even at busy times. Front desk staff was friendly as well.

A very nice hotel with great rooms. Good continental breakfast provided including hot items. The front desk service provided by Chloe was exceptional. We travelled via bus trip and others noted that, too. We requested help with our tv and I’m sure she was up in our room in less than five minutes and worked away until she solved the problem.

Stayed here during a girls' weekend. This hotel was easy to find and fairly priced, and easy to split among 5 of us girls (the suite was nice--2 large beds and a sofa bed). There was even an actual kitchenette in the room, but we didn't use it. It was about 10 minutes from downtown Eau Claire, which is a fun little city to visit. Staff was average, the young guy at the counter wasn't overly friendly, just average. Breakfast was decent, standard Holiday Inn Express fare (cinnamon rolls, pancake machine, eggs, meat, some fruit, bread, yogurt). Coffee isn't the best but it's same at all these hotels. Decent amount of hot tea bag options. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Would stay again, one thing I love about these Holiday Inn Express hotel is that they are consistent.

Spotless! One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in! Comfy beds, yummy breakfast options (had separate wrapped gluten free items), friendly staff, spacious clean shower, nice ambiance (real potted plants around!) ... What's not to love? Love that this hotel also will provide complementary toiletries if you forget them at home (see pic)!
