Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Appleton

It was ok but room was dirty and breakfast wasn't that good. Eggs were cold. Told front desk about the room and he just apologized nothing else. For 103 dollars I wasn't impressed. Easy check in and check out though. I have a female boxer and she went to do work out in the fitness room and there isn't much to it. Hot tub closes at 10 which I think should be 11 since we got there at 930 due to traveling and left right in the morning.

Pillows are great and the people behind the desk were extraordinary in knowledge of the area and very helpful with linnen and fresh orange juice and A.1 service! It was a peaceful transition of sleep to deepsleep. Cause i felt looked after by the Front Desk keeper!

The room was clean and staff friendly. However they definitely need new pillows and more of them. We only received 3 all the size of sofa throw pillows. When I requested atleast two more it was like pulling teeth. I went to front desk and was able to get one and was told that was all they had. After returning for dinner I had to stop and beg for the second. Lol New fluffy pillows and the normal 2 per person would fix the situation.

Hotel was basic, linens looked newish, bathroom clean. The towels were full size, not large hand towels.blackout curtains made the room quite dark. The bed was comfortable, three pillows, for one person more than enough, the hotel has a hot tub and gym and business room that I didn’t use, but were included I could hear other people a bit, but it was basically pretty quiet. Most hotels aren’t known for thick walls. I did not try the continental breakfast so I can’t comment on that. For one night before a flight, this was one of the most inexpensive hotels, and although the room was small, when your name is Micro, I was expecting that. It completely fulfilled my needs, and I was actually pleasantly surprised how nice it was. I would recommend it for a short stay close to the airport when you don’t want to spend twice as much for a place that has lots of stuff you aren’t going to use anyway. You are just crashing for the night.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here because the price was attractive, but I will not come back. And I definitely would not recommend this hotel to others. The walls are paper thin and both times I’ve stayed here, I have been kept awake literally all night by the people in the room next to me. I’m leaving my stay here early and checking in somewhere else for the remainder of my time in Appleton
