The Plaza Hotel

It was so convenient to get to the Milwaukee Art Museum from The Plaza for "Art In Bloom" and it was so nice to relax in the comfy room after a long busy day. Staff are all so sincerely friendly and helpful. Thanks for keeping the ice trays filled! It is always nice to end our stay with a lucious breakfast on the morning or our departure at The Cafe!

Nice place to stay! We love the Art Deco/retro vibes and the jazz music playing in the background. The café was always packed during our weekend stay, which is a sure sign that it’s a great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Would stay again

Rooms are the “Best in Milwaukee” The Cafe at the Plaza restaurant is a local favorite spot- so good! I would have given 5 stars but I had a little credit card issue with the front desk. Be careful that you don’t give an additional card for incidentals-your room will be getting charged as well, regardless whether or not you gave a different card to reserve the room. The HOLD on my money is the issue, and being told it will take about a week to “drop off” That’s a week you won’t have your cash, just FYI.

This now is my regular place to stay in Milwaukee. Not only does it have the old world charm and architectural details preserved, the modern conveniences and cozy bedding are just so lovely! I also appreciate the full kitchen as I have very special dietary restrictions, so not only is it great to have the full kitchen to accommodate - there's a GROCERY store right across the street in the back!!! Talk about uber convenient! The employees also are very friendly and always willing to accommodate even the most random requests. The laundry facility is very convenient, and the cafe obviously is a local delight but also a welcome meal - and getting to sit at the counter is like stepping back in time too. Just LOVE this place!!!

A wonderful place to stay. The staff and service was excellent. I appreciate all the accommodation that are offered. I just wish the restaurant stay open an hour later for us late risers. I will definitely return next year around our anniversary which is on Valentines day.
