Oxford Suites Downtown Spokane

Great place to stay if you are visiting Gonzaga. My daughter and I stayed here on our admitted students visit. The hotel is right smack in between Gonzaga's campus and Downtown Spokane/Riverfront Park. Perfect location right on the walking trail. We had breakfast here each morning and it was really good as well. The rooms are spacious and the staff are very helpful. Location is ideal and Spokane is a beautiful city. Looking for some good places to eat try Frank's Diner (inside an old railcar) and The Flying Goat (pizza). Have to drive to these but well worth it.

Great hotel with friendly, helpful desk attendants. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Loved being right on the riverwalk path and also close to the park and restaurants. The hot breakfast was delicious with a big variety of choices to choose from.

We have been to this hotel 3 times now and each has been so wonderful. Calm and nice. This time was full of baseball teams and the pool hot tub wet room and sauna was completely PACKED with kids just screaming and playing (which is 100% ok and fine but not for the entire time…) kids under the age of 10 in hot tubs saunas and wet rooms is just annoying (sorry just saying). The hot tub was full of kids in life jackets like 3 yrs old and the water was disgusting and cloudy. Breakfast buffet was so crowded with all the team it was not enjoyable at all. I’m not trying to be a Karen about teams staying in hotels but be respectful.. we waited until :30min before pool closed JUST to have :30min without a 9yr old team take over and they were STILL there. Screaming yelling just a mad house (again, kids are KIDS and that’s wonderful but when do other guests get what they paid for too…?) We never once were able to use the pool hot tub or sauna in our entire stay. Which is why we stayed at a hotel… Bummer situation this time. :( Also, no cots so we had to have one stay on a tiny bench rather than the floor. No couch. So if you need more sleeping, bring a cot or air mattress. Room was spacious enough for one for sure! We called for a set of blankets (twice) and finally got it and it was one single blanket not a comforter set.. kind of meh. One thing I want to say is a huge thank you to the woman at the counter who took our phone call and created a snack basket for our two birthday kids!! She was amazing, hand wrote cards and everything on a platter! It was SOOO special.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Room was nice and quiet, beds comfy, ample hot water and pressure in shower, breakfast options good, evening reception nice, pool area well kept. All of the staff - front desk, housekeeping, bistro - were amazingly friendly. We'll be back next year for sure. Tip - if you want to enjoy the complementary food at the evening reception, get there early. It goes fast! We ended up ordering off the bistro menu, which was tasty and large portions.

The room was lovely and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. I also enjoyed the free breakfast. The food was delicious and the variety in offerings was great. I also need to mention the cookies in the evenings were amazing.
