La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

The 1st room we were put into didn't have a working lock, the furniture was dingy and broken. Second room the lock came out but wouldn't slide into the door frame/latch, the tub/shower didn't work, faucet handle came off completely, furniture was dingy and in poor condition, metal bed frame stuck out at the end of the bed so you would hit your shin every time walking past. Both the 7th & 5th floors smelled of pot, were dirty as if a vacuum had barley seen the carpet, walls were dirty and had gunk on them, there were holes, scratches, and dents in the walls of the hallways, inside both rooms. The front glass sliding door didn't close and stayed opened the whole time, the elevator was dirty and missing buttons. The breakfast was poorly maintained, food was not kept at temperature controlled health standards (eggs and sausage, which was grey, were sitting inside a plastic case with bread and bagels. The fruit was bruised and torn, the milk was thick looking and the fridge the items were kept in was just above cold. The floor and cabinets were filthy, the kick panel had mold in multiple areas, the floor was sticky, coffee was spilled on the table and floor, and there was no one refilling any item or cleaning any areas. There is a fish tank that looks like gross green algae has been growing for years directly across from the elevator and in the "sitting" area for breakfast. The door frame in the 5th floor room that we were moved into had been broken in more than one place. The bathroom floor needed to be swept and mopped, the walls needed to be cleaned, along with the clogged drains in both the sink and tub, giant gross hair balls, and the water for the sink only ran temperate and would not get hot or cold. We had to cover the peephole in the door with toilet paper as it was just an open hole in the door. A dog howled and barked all night. There were no USB ports, no screens on the windows, which did open fully but wouldn't fully close. As we left the hotel, a man and woman who were staying in the hotel, got into some sort of domestic situation and the man slapped the woman more than once then went inside the hotel, nothing was done or in any way addressed.

Given filthy room not done at check in. Housekeeping was kind enough to tell us what floor to ask for since those rooms were done. They said they never pay attention to rms marked done @ front desk apparently. Given another room (they did apologize) yet still dirty , broken doors, trims on everything and still dirty where the towels were placed . Plunger was in the closet next to the microwave plate. Gross. Front desk didn't seem thrilled to be there. Oh frozen (yes frozen!) sausage and eggs were served for breakfast. Had to be heated in the microwave. Getting on the elevator w/ my kid for some random guy to approach asking if I need anything (drugs) .. Smh Rooms are very very small. Only thing decent was price & no roaches. Must park on the street or during week there is a parking garage. We got lucky on a Sunday so parking was free. Pictures Def were deceiving here.

Bed bugs room 205, bad wifi, noisy neighbors, no food at "included breakfast". Staff is friendly and helpful. They gave me another room in the middle of the night. I didn't sleep well and was completely exhausted next day. It was my worst hotel experience.

The neighbourhood is really sketchy. The hotel itself is really run-down. The smell of marijuana permeates everywhere, despite supposedly being a non-smoking hotel. The internet was broken during my entire stay and no compensation was offered. My room was in rough shape but seemed to be clean. However, no cleaning staff visited during my three night stay.

I never leave reviews. If i could give a zero I would.. Please read and do yourself a favor and never stay at this location. While checking in the staff started fighting and yelling. We felt so uncomfortable. The hotel is being used to house homeless and welfare. It smells like pee and weed. Dirty everywhere. No parking. The worst place to stay and iv traveld to third world country's.
