I had a booked, one-night stay at Larkspur Landing - Renton, WA through Hotels.com this week. When I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM, the desk clerk stated the last remaining room had a burst pipe & could not be occupied. I was offered a Larkspur property, a 45-minute drive further north from SEA-TAC airport, where I needed to be by 5 AM. I left & booked a hotel across the street, where the desk clerk stated I was the 8th guest he had checked in that evening with a booked reservation at Larkspur and no room available!

Our home lost power for 3 days during the Cyclonic Bomb that hit the Seattle metro area in mid November 2024. The Larkspur Landing was a great respite during this time. Darian at reception was amazing! She was managing their own power restoration and a phone ringing off the hook and still provided great customer service with a smile. The suites were very clean and spacious - we had a separate bedroom and large bathroom and a very nice TV area with a working desk for 2. Also had a full kitchen, minus an oven, and a full refrigerator/freezer where we were able to store a few items rescued from our home freezer. Rooms were quiet despite being fully booked and all staff we encountered were friendly! Free parking and free continental breakfast (small, more of a to go style, but still found choices we were happy with) was nice. Warm cookies after 5pm were an added treat. Overall great stay with great staff during a stressful storm.

We had a place to sleep. Thatās the only positive. Here are the things that didnāt work: no coffee for the room, fitness room had no weights, a treadmill that didnāt work and a weight machine missing pieces, kitchen lights donāt turn on, door wonāt open more than half the time, tile on the floor in the bathroom are loose so pinch your feet if you step on it, iron does not get hot, hair dryer only works on low, faucet drips, soap dispensers give only a microscopic amount of soap (try showering with that!) And the lobby often stinks like cigarettes. Very much in need of maintenance!!!! Itās also quite noisy with dogs barking because they are left alone.

Well arrived late and was hoped for nice hot shower after few days of hiking. Empty shower gel and shampoo dispensers. Disappointing. Broken basin- couldnāt let the water out. Good size bedroom with kitchenette. Ok choice of food for breakfast. As far as I know there was laundry room available too which I think is great.
