It's like this property isnt even a Hilton. I am an Honors Silver and they never give me any points for my stays even though the other properties will. It irritates me that parking is $16 a night as well, but at least you're paying for a secure garage and not a parking lot. I really liked the rooms as they are quite spacious and the bed comfy. I also liked the slider door to the bathroom as it doesn't take up space, and that there is night light too. Additionally I put in a special request to have a high floor and a water view. While they couldnt provide a water view they still moved us up a floor to partially honor my request so I thought that was nice of them. I also asked for a late check out and I was told 12:30 pm instead of noon. Wasnt much of a difference but it helped. It was a weekend so by doing that I felt they were trying to accommodate me.

Hotel was very good. Had an accessible room because traveling with elderly mother. Very large clean room. Checked in about 11:30pm. Problems did not concern actual room but unexpected charges after checkout. 1. Parking charge of $13. Reasonable charge but not advised of parking fee during check-in. Not a big deal. 2. $17 charge for soiled bathroom towels. A wash cloth and hand towel had very light makeup on the towels. This was probably after washing faces and wiping face snd hands with the towel. I was appalled and have NEVER in all my hotel stays been charged for this. Iām careful not to deeply soil the washcloths either my makeup and my 88 yr old mother slso uses cosmetic wipes. However these were standard hotel grade white towels which when washed and maybe even bleached would have been perfectly clean for use by future guests. I do laundry at home and I know this! Never a problem. Hotel administrator told me the towels were not usable by future guests, which is ridiculous. If this is such a serious problem leading the hotel to nickel and dime a customer, they should provide makeup towels/wipes as some other hotels do. I actually usually bring my own. I responded to the hotel in writing but no satisfactory response. It was my second stay at this property, I wonāt stay there again or any Hampton inn.

I donāt usually post stuff like this but had the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel over the weekend. Made impromptu reservations Saturday afternoon at Hampton In. In Renton for a Saturday night stay specifically to take my 5 year old swimming in an indoor pool as a special treat and itās across the street from Gene Coulon Park. We had stayed previously and she enjoyed swimming. When we arrived to check in we were told the pool was closed unexpectedly. I told Danny the front desk supervisor that the only reason we were staying was to swim, had just made the reservations a couple hours before and we would like a refund as my 5 year old would be very disappointed. She said she was not interested in providing a refund and it was my responsibility to do research in advance to see if the pool would be open before booking. I told her I booked on Expedia and I saw nothing about the pool being closed. She said too bad, I should have gone to their website and done research and it was not their problem and she would do nothing to accommodate my inconvenience as it was not her issue. We left and stayed across the street at Hyatt Regency where we received exceptional customer service and a complimentary upgrade to a nicer room with a view and soaking tub as the front desk person was appalled by how we had been treated at Hampton Inn and wanted to try to make up for it for my 5 year old. We swam, got room service, played at the park, and had a wonderful time. Will never patronize Hampton Inn again. Would expect more from a hospitality company. Hampton you need to do some training with your staff around the fundamentals of hospitality and customer service and exceptions in situations like this to retain customers in the long term.

The front desk personnel was extremely aggressive and confrontational. Not what I expected from a role that is supposed to be focused on customer service. Got the run around between different departments at Hilton just trying to reschedule a booking by a single night. Never came across a hotel this rude and inflexible.

Great location. The exhaust fan was extremely noisy, and the water pressure was low. The hotel had a slight smell, which was more noticeable to others. I did not like housekeeping being performed every other day.
