We were not outside of our rig much because the roads are not paved and it was quite dusty everytime a vehicle drove by. Although there are many sites with shade trees, our site had no shade and it was hot.. We did not use the pool (many kids) but I did use the jacuzzi once- it was very nice, good temp and clean. The bathrooms were acceptable, not fabulous. There is a gravel trail to a paved walking/biking trail along the river that has several beach sites which we did utilize. We stayed here because of the proximity (30 minute drive) to the Gorge amphitheater. We would only stay here again if there was nothing else. We had full hookups and fit well into our site with a 5th wheel.

The armpit of Eastern Washington. Horrible experience from entering the gate to exiting the Gate. No staff present to check in, in fact on a 3 day stay never got checked in. Gate code just passed along from other campers. RV pads so out of level it was more like going hunting in the mountains. ALL amenities either broke or unavailable. The only staff person spotted during our stay was not even authorized to sell ice. Reservations and payment were a waste of time. We could have just pulled in, found a spot and set up. No one their would even notice. Grounds and buildings were dirty and poorly maintained. Filthy Honey buckets on the verge of tipping over are hardly restrooms. First night of stay had thousands of dollars of our equipment stolen as did a minimum of 8 other sites. Again no staff present, no answers to messages left, and had to call the 1000 Trails main # only to get no answers and no follow ups for the remainder of our stay. Total negligence and failure to live up to the basic responsibilities of the campground. Majority of lighting in the campground was either out or had been removed due to damage. Fencing around was broken down and easy to walk right through as well as drive. Chains meant to block entrance were attached to broken fencing and so loose that people were actually just holding them up and driving under. Rules were not enforced, one site had 8 Vehicles over night. We were thinking of buying a membership but based on the experience at this thousand trails and the lack of any response from the campground management or the thousand trails main office there is ZERO chance of that EVER happening or of us ever staying at one of their sites. Walmart parking lots would rate a 10 compared to thousand trails. DONT GO THERE! To quote a long time member "I have been going here for 30 years and this is the worst it has ever been. Igt has been going steadily down hill since thousand trails too over!"

We stayed in a tent which means the amenities such as toilets and showers were extremely important to us. The showers were dirty, the toilets never had toilet paper. The grass is dead and or getting replaced with weeds. Trash cans overflowing everywhere. Calls to the ranger station to enforce "quiet time hours" were never answered and voicemails were never responded to. This park is out of control!

We have stayed at this location for Labor Day Weekend the past 3 years. We will not be returning after this year. The property has not been maintained (e.g. no mowing, garbage everywhere, RV spots extremely uneven). The sewage drain in our RV spot would also not drain. We reported the issue to staff and were told to move spots to dump. Easier said than done when you have a travel trailer. Overall, not impressed and will be staying at the campground down the road for all future trips.

Quincey, Wenatchee, Lake Chelan, Moses Lake and Leavenworth can all be accessed from this most picturesque basecamp that has beach, golf, fast food, wine tasting and fine dining available within walking distance from Thousand Trails RV, cabin and camp site. 10/10 for location and views including stargazing. Water sports available, hiking trails and a cool antiques/coffee shop atop the hill. Deer sighted occasionally, eagles and other wildlife daily.
