Basecamp Puyallup a Travelodge by Wyndham

My stay at the Basecamp Puyallup was a mixed bag. I was there while exhibiting at the Washington Sportsmen's Show in Puyallup which takes place at the State fair Events Center a couple of blocks away. THE GOOD: 1. It has been remodeled and is a clean property costing less than nearby quality hotels. 2. The beds are very comfortable. 3. The shower pressure is very good. THE NOT SO GOOD: 1. Traffic noise. You are next to the freeway. I knew that and brought ear plugs. 2. Sirens! The hotel is right next to the local emergency room and you will hear ambulance sirens going off periodically during the night. 3. Non-working Ice Machine - The ice machine worked fine for two nights but when the temperature dropped towards freezing it ceased to work. 4. Check-in was a little rough but we got through it. I might stay here again but then again; I may opt to spend a little more money and go elsewhere for next year's sportsman show.
