We stayed in the Courtyard Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett for six days in July 2024 while our daughter participated in a softball tournament. The rooms are unusually small for a Courtyard and even though there were just three of us, it was not enough space for that many days. Although the hotel's policy is to clean the room every other day, ours was cleaned only once during our entire stay, and that was only after I repeatedly addressed the issue at the front desk. The other team families staying in the hotel at the same time as us had similar issues. Of greater concern was the cleanliness of the room when we checked in. A knife fell out of the sofa when we pulled it out to make the bed. The packaging for an adult novelty item (prominently labeled) was left on the floor by the nightstand. We later found two pairs of dirty socks in the corner. There is no chance this room was properly cleaned between guests. For a good part of our stay, the parking lot was roped off (perhaps for a resurfacing treatment?) which made it nearly impossible to access most of the spaces. The one bright spot was the front desk staff, who were always kind and professional.

I usually do not leave reviews but the discrimination I received was completely unacceptable. My business trip was very pleasant until I went to get Starbucks coffee one morning. The barista there, I believe her name is Chelle, was very rude, impatient and just unfriendly. I initially disregarded her behavior thinking she must be normally like this and not a people person with poor customer service. Then while I was putting creamer in my coffee, a man came to place an order for coffee. Her whole demeanor changed. She was polite, friendly and treated him with respect, like a valued customer. This upset me because I was polite to her and greeted her "Good Morning" and ordered coffee just like the gentleman after me. What I don't understand is why I was treated so badly. I had to put up with her rude attitude and her treating me like I was a waste of her time for 2 days. This made me wish they served coffee in the lobby so that I wouldn't be subjected to her discrimination! I was so happy to see Sandra's friendly face the rest of my stay. Her supervisor Martha, was also very nice and friendly. The employees at the front desk, Becky, Jenny and a filipina woman whose name, I failed to get, were all super friendly, helpful and provided very good customer service. The man at the bistro and housekeeping always had a smile. Honestly, this was one hotel with the most friendly staff, except for Chelle. Employee's like Chelle that cannot be respectful to "all" guests and uphold the hotel's standard of customer service should not be in customer service. The hotel is a little dated but the bed was comfortable. I mostly liked how well the air conditioning worked. I slept very well.

Cons: Bit awkward to have the sink outside of the bathroom. Pros: Quick and easy check-in. Friendly front staff. Free water and infused water near front desk. Free Starbucks drip coffee provided outside bistro hours. Room was very clean and quiet. Air conditioning and heat worked well. Toothbrush and toothpaste was provided free of charge upon request. Shower gel provided smelled great. Room was spacious - lots of desk space, a big couch, another small table, a large TV, a full size mirror, 2 bedside tables equipped with charging outlets. The hotel was close to everything we needed, including a large mall. Parking was free! We would definitely stay here again.

They call this an “eco” facility so they don’t service the rooms for a multi day stay. No refreshing coffee. No free breakfast because they have a restaurant which serves awful food. Coffee costs $5 a cup. Miss this place for a full service facility

Outdated rooms for a marriot. Wallpaper falling apart and malfunctioning air-conditioner. Some issues with honesty for room availability. I wouldn't recommend this one, the Hilton nearby is much nicer for a similar price range.
