Traveled Aug 2024 with 3 poodles. Very rundown hotel. Good location but it definitely needs remodeling and improvement. They were painting exterior while we were there but much is needed. Landscaping and cleanliness outside was terrible. Had a first floor river view room and the view right outside the window was disgusting. Overpriced for the accommodations. The ceiling and walls were paper thin. We were able to a listen to a couple seriously enjoying themselves above us in their extremely squeaky bed. Beware until they improve this property.

Very nice surprise. Right off freeway but far enough away sound wise. Ten dollars more gets a lovely river view (and adds to quiet). Food was good with river view. Staff and room all good. Reasonable price. Would definitely stay again.

Such a Fun Find! Wish we had been in one of the remodeled rooms, or a higher floor, but was best we had next door room to our elder on 2nd floor. LOVED the cheery breakfast attendant & the sunrise view. Breakfast was good, especially the carrot walnut muffin! Half the breakfast room is super cozy, and other half has ultra bright lights and white tables…? We walked to brewery for dinner. Wish we could have gone to the Crows Nest in hotel, but they are closed Mondays. Would have also loved to try pool, hot tub or free bikes! Front desk staff were also pleasant and helpful. Loved the Halloween chocolate after the long car ride! Hope to return!!

I Booked this trip to take two older ladies that were turning 60th & 70th to Tri-Cities for the first time. First time to Wine Country. I called the hotel last month firsthand to get information about the rooms/space & etc. I was told to choose one of the two suites they have at this property. She told me to look online to see what the rooms look like. The Receptionist that booked me over the phone told me the Capt Suite 402 is the biggest and spacious on floor 4 end of hall. That room can hold what we were wanting and adding a Roll away bed to the room. She booked me over the phone with Military discount and gave me the reference number. I called again on Sunday 8/20th to confirm our room and arrival of earlier time. On 8/28th we checked in to unprofessional guest service that was not pleasant with us and to find out they gave our Suite away. We got stuck in another suite 418, that was smaller. Made excuses saying it was my fault. Unbelievable, as two of them just gave me a stare and said nothing other than we can call you next day to get you moved to your correct suite on Tuesday. Tuesday came, no one called, no one helped moved our belongings. I called two separate times. I got alerted by the Maid service who came to our door and said it was ready at 3:30pm. Then another front desk receptionist came up to give us keycards that did not work to open 402 door. And asked for the old room keycards back. We went down to front desk 3 separate times for faulty key cards. Then to find out both TVs did not work with the remote. They called maintenance in. They left at 5:30pm after fixing it. By the time we moved from one suite to the correct suite it was now 6:30pm, tired and hungry. We left to go out to eat Texas roadhouse to come back at 9:30pm to our keycards not working again. We have had no issues with the other room keycards just the 402. Next day I went and asked to talk to Manager as we are now day 3 and I have had it with the front desk staff. She apologized for her not trained staff and took some dollars off from my room rate. Hospitality is very lacking, No one smiles, no one greets you at the desk. And very strict no eating in your rooms as you cannot bring your free breakfast to your room at all. One of the ladies didn't feel well to walk to eat so she went without breakfast as they said it's not allowed to leave the restaurant. The Hot Tub in our room doesn't work the dial on the wall doesn't turn to turn the jets on. I paid $950.74 for a crappy, stressful bday for four days. I truly believe they gave my room out for full price since I had military/AAA discount, so they made more money off that room rate. There excuses made no sense to me. No offer for return comps, no lunch or dinner comps nothing to invite you back to make it better, nada! Not anything from any desk clerk. I feel this hotel has a high turnover rate, no one wants to work and the staff they hired is not trained, they sit on the counters, watching videos, their facial looks are upsetting, and they just stare at you with yawing faces, they are on their phones, no hotel guest service etiquette at all. Now the Positive details, the view and location are great, both rooms we stayed in were cleaned, comfortable beds with enough pillow and blankets. Bathroom was spacious and big. Professional Words of Wisdom to the front desk staff---Try to smile and greet your check in guests, the nicer and kind you are, the feel welcoming vibes of the inviting atmosphere will bloom your business.

Had a great sleep. People review the breakfast as gourmet, no it is just breakfast. It is an older hotel, could use some updating. Housekeepers don't speak English, so it is hard to get help from them. The event we were at was poorly organized and if you haven't been to one before, no one tells you anything. Would not recommend any venues there.
