The KirkHouse Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I stayed at Kirk House while we visited Friday Harbor. Steve and his wife were great hosts. Very helpful and made us great breakfasts. We enjoyed the large well appointed spacious room that was readily accessible. The house is very convenient to walk to town .We would definitely revisit when we return to Friday Harbor

Kirk House is a well-run bed and breakfast. It is clean and well lit. The location is walking distance from the ferry and downtown Friday Harbor. The property has onsite parking. The owners are willing to accommodate any diet preference. Well worth staying at!

Our four nights at the Kirk House in the Trellis Room were terrific. We enjoyed the tasteful and immersive period-outfitting of the living room and bedrooms, complete with modern conveniences, and the location offered convenient walking to downtown Friday Harbor. The bed was comfortable, the living room provided a comfortable and amenity-loaded place to relax, and the breakfasts were spectacular. We also appreciated the good advice of our very welcoming hosts (Steve and Renee) about dining options. We chose the Trellis Room for the king-size bed and the tub (plus a separate shower), but next time we'll probably opt for the Veranda Room which offers a king-size bed, a two-headed shower, and more spacious feel within the room because there's no tub. We are looking forward to a return trip!

Fantastic B & B located in Friday Harbor. Rooms are comfortable. The hosts are warm and welcoming providing great advice on what to see and do in Friday Harbor and greater San Juan Island. The breakfast is outstanding. Breakfast starts with a granola parfait followed by a warm full breakfast. \

Steve and Renee were lovely people and I feel badly trashing their B&B but it was our worst experience at the Kirk House. We Stayed in the veranda room for 4 evenings , it smelled badly , the blinds were stained , our room was dusty and dirty everywhere , bedroom curtain was a piece of cloth hanging from a rod, I was kept awake by the smells in the bed and pillows. There was 1 drawer and I wouldn’t use it because the inside surface was dirty. The shower was concrete walls and floor , good water pressure and hot but gross . The entire property is poorly neglected. Outside lighting is all broken , dead flowers in the porch pots . Breakfast was excellent and it was very nice that hot coffee was left at our door at 7:00 each morning. Convenient location.
