Sunshine Motel

The scariest place I've been to in a long time I thought I was getting punked. There was a group outside half the day fighting with weapons involved. Two little toddlers knock on my door at 3am with no parent in sight finally some lady comes and gets them while I'm telling them to go find their mommy...I left early...too run down and ghetto

The place is a dump to much trash everywhere and foliage green bushes in the back of the motel. My husband was bite by bedbugs in the bed on the top floor. Bedbugs in every bed, probably. The pillows are OLD and need changed used disgusting. It's not a place for families no place for children to play. Trash piles up next to the trash can, the trash dump is too small. Folks should find another motel don't stay here the place should be shut down. Also, fridges don't work right misses the dial button inside to adjust the temperature. WAY to much furniture. Dirty sheets and towels small burnt holes in the blankets. Bad smells in the room.

Who know Tacoma was sold out.. we arrived late.. and became desperate for accommodation.. Check in staff absolutely lovely!! Professional and funny.. But the room lacked all the necessities we need for a good nights sleep..Really enjoyed the staff and thank-you for having us, but would not stay again.. and we paid A LOT for the room.. hence the title of my review..

Sadly this Motel is not a motel for family. More of a party motel. Let me start off with the good things about this hotel. Front desk was really nice and helpful with some concerns I had. The outside of the building is well lite and it's nice to know that the police station is right around the corner. Now for the bad stuff I would never recommend this motel for anybody that isn't single and male. Couldn't sleep during at night because the people staying in the room next to me were loud(party). I'm not sure if people lived there but one person was looking at my every move. Kinda scary.. I did come with two dogs and got charged extra, which I was not sure why I got charged, if I put that on my hotel reservations and there was nothing stating that I would get charged for them or that it wasn't included in my hotel stay total. Honestly I will never be staying there again I wouldn't recommend this motel to anybody (they also have a Wall of Shame of people that have done something that bans them from being at the motel, which should have been my first clue to not stay at that hotel

Cigarette burns on bathtub rim, filthy aircondition unit, filthy around the burners on the stove, holes in the stained towels...half the electric plug-ins don't work....free wifi...right! So weak I couldn't open any browser....all this for $75....never again....definitely no sunshine at the sunshine motel!!!!!!
