Staybridge Suites Federal Way Seattle South an IHG Hotel

I stayed there from February 7th. Then I left the package at the front for USPS and told the person there to hand it to the post office. But it was never moving when I tracked it, so I called the hotel several times, but they just said it was not here any longer. And finally, they got mad and told me to call the post office!! It is obvious that they lost it or discarded it... It was a $400 worth package. I cannot trust this hotel anymore!! I am so sad and disappointed in the manager there.

I’m here for a month and upon check in I went to my room and turned on water for the shower, waited over 10 minutes for hot water as I thought maybe it takes a bit because of the weather in the 30s; however, next day in the morning I encountered the same issue. I spoke to front desk they said “okay we will let maintenance know.” I come back that evening still same issue. The hotel only does limited service except for the 6th day it’s full clean for extended stay. However, for the full service the housekeeper stole my stuff off the table in the room. Came to front desk and the agent came figure out why. Hotel does not value loyalty and on the weekend it’s basically “No” service because of no staff and they will not allow any late checkouts any day of the week. I’m deeply disappointed with this hotel and the management and staff. While at the desk a lady was checking in and reserved a 2 bedroom suite and the hotel gave it away and she asked why and the agent said “I’m sorry I’m refusing to allow you to stay here.” This is ridiculous at this hotel. Again management does care.

I had a great stay, i love the social hour and the Bartender was amazing! The food was great just what i need after a long day at work. The customer service was a 10. Secure and clean property. Easy access to hwy and shopping center. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you Fabi you did amazing !

This isn’t just a staybridge suites, it’s a holiday inn express combo….not the same.. first for me and I’m I HG platinum .. definitely not up to normal staybridge suites standards.. On a positive note, the lady working breakfast did a great job.

We travel frequently, every few weeks. When we checked in to the hotel, the front desk guy was nice. We went up to our room where my wife started to unpack our belongings and I went back down to request a crib. I received a text and a phone call from my wife. The dressed had fallen on her body when she opened a drawer. She managed to wriggle out my sustained significant bruising, pain, trauma, etc. I lifted the dresser back up and the tip kit was on the back in the original packaging uninstalled. I attempted to call the front desk for help but the phone was disconnected from the wall. Our toddler was in the room with my wife and I thank God he wasn’t crushed. Our baby was there too. Children have died like this. I had to physically go back to the front desk who didn’t offer medical, ice, etc. they just said they would send housekeeping to reinstall a drawer from the dresser that I couldn’t get back on. My wife was in tears on the couch, so I went back down again to request ice. I then gave my wife the ice and the dresser almost fell again when housekeeping was reinstalling the drawer. At this point, we didn’t feel safe with young kids in the room. Went back down to front desk and they issued a new room key. Went to that room which had two shocked guests bc it was already occupied! So at this point, I’ve made numerous trips physically to the desk bc the phone remains disconnected in the room, my wife is on the couch, wrangling two little ones,repacked our stuff myself and have a luggage cart in the hallway with no actual room. I physically go down AGAIN. Get another room. Go up there. Now I look at the dressers—-these tip kits are also not installed. I physically blocked the dresser with the crib to keep it from tipping on the babies. What a shortcut and cost cutting measure to leave the kits uninstalled. The next day the GM calls and says she will give us some points to make up for this. Let me be clear, we lost the ability to hike on our trip, my wife has to get an MRI and physical therapy now which is very $$$$, and the hotel didn’t even help us move the first night. In case you’re wondering, the points never showed. The GM has a voicemail that stays full. When you call the front desk, never transferred to the GM and just excuses and rude behavior. This doesn’t even include that housekeeping asked me daily to bag my own trash and deliver to them, didn’t refill the empty soap container, etc. still no call back from GM despite my request to the front desk.
