Average food, average experience overall. It is a bit outdated inside, but quaint. Fairly clean inside. Tried burger and fries, and double decker sandwich, they were as you would expect. They have a bar inside as well.

Wow, we were soo impressed by the Tyee!! We were a little skeptical and not sure what to expect but we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We had a beautiful room (which was recently renovated), delicious food (even for a vegan), and incredible people!! Not to mention the beautiful sight seeing nearby. We couldnāt recommend the Tyee more!

Stopped in while visiting Whidbey Island. Great value, nice clean rooms, good American food, and a bar with a happening Karaoke night every other Saturday. Everyone there was cheerful and helpful. Definitely a number one choice in Coupeville.

One night's stay at this place and you will know how terrified the patrons of the Bates Motel were. We stayed here 2 nights, because unfortunately we had a family member in the hospital nearby. I would suggest leaving a light on or the TV on while you sleep and no food around because we found rat poop underneath our beds. Unfortunately, I could go on and on about how bad the rooms actually were, but instead I would like to inform everyone that our stay at this hotel also resulted in Identity Theft. About 2 weeks after we left, all of the information we had used to stay there (keep in mind we used this credit card no where else recently, so we know it happened here) and a brand new Apple ITunes account was opened using that same credit card, my family member's name, phone number, and address, and over $300 was charged. My family member who's identity was stolen, is in fact someone so old they didn't even know what Apple ITunes was. Sadly, Identity Theft happens to be one of those things that is hard to track people down and catch them for. But I can give anyone considering staying here a strong warning. DON'T TRUST IT. The low(ish) price is not worth all the trouble it will bring to you!

This place is a cool dive on the island. We don't go for the food. We go because the regulars are great, and this bar has the best bartender. Ashlee is hysterically funny. Has the best personality ever. Every time we're on island we go to the Tyee to see if Ashlee is working. If she is, we always stay for a couple of beers.
