Lots of reviews so I will make it short and to the point - there arent a ton of places to stay in Cle Elum so choices are not expansive. This was a half way for my adult daughter and to meet and spend some time together We wanted to explore nearby Roslyn and then sit by the pool and relax and chat. I chose this lodging because of the outdoor pool. Cons - The pool is unheated and sits 40 feet from the roadway with a chain link fence around it. It is noisy and you are relaxing staring at traffic and a safeway. It would be easy to throw up a privacy fence and make it a cute area. There was absolutely NO shade or umbrellas so you are literally cooking under the hot sun with no escape but a freezing pool. At night when things cooled off, we went out and were immediately bitten by 100's of mosquitos. Had we known the condition of the pool we would have paid less to stay at the new hotel across the street (it was 50 cheaper a night). The room has been renovated but the floors squeaked when we walked on them -loud and annoying. The shower had mold in it. Beds were not super comfortable. Pros across the street from a grocery store, coffee shops and a quick drive to the super cute town of Roslyn and 50 minutes to picturesque Cooper Lake. Easy to make reservations and they honored the online price. Allowed early check in without any hassle. Easy parking. All told - this place is not worth 196 a night. I would stay here again for 100-129 ish.

Our stay at this hotel was "ok". We found the website and photos were very misleading for what you get. The pool is very small with no shade. The bathroom floor in particular was not clean. The bedspread appeared to be clean but with a very large stain on it and the chair and ottoman too were badly stained. The light in the vanity area was not working. Apparently they provide a continental breakfast but this ends at 9am. They really don't seem to want people to stay there. We were even charged a pet fee for this! Our pet was cleaner than the room. Overpriced and misleading.

We stayed here because it was the NWRCHA âhost hotelâ, which means you get a discount to stay when a show is in town. We paid $179 plus tax to stay in an old rundown dumpy place. As I first walked in I thought OK itâs old but at least it looks clean. We were exhausted after a long hot day in the truck and then with horses and got to the room very late, so we just went to bed. The sheets were scratchy and the bed was hard, (and I usually like some firmness to a mattress for some back support), but it was harder than I could stand, so I was awake a lot in the night. When I went to take a shower the next morning, I discovered a very dirty bathtub. There was hair on the shower walls that wasnât mine. (or my husbandâs as he is bald), the shower nozzle was from the 1970s and the temperature changed throughout showering so much that I was scalded then frozen, off and on several times! I never could get a nice regulated temperature. The in wall hair dryer (also from 1970 or earlier!) was rectangular in shape and the high setting was so low I couldnât get my hair dry, so I wore a ponytail and a hat all day. My daughter, her husband and their two toddlers stayed in a room below us and she said there was pink mildew all over her shower walls and she couldnât believe that she was putting her little boys in that bathtub as she did it. Skip this place, if at all possible! There is a very nice, new looking Best Western across the street behind Safeway parking lot that has rooms for $189 per night had there been something available I would have booked a room there for the next night even if it meant having to lose money at this motel since no cancellations are allowed within 24 hours of stay.

This is a decent place, though overpriced. I stayed here the weekend that Central Washington was graduation and hotel rooms were hard to find. It was not bad, but merely decent, and the $177 was too much.

Do not stay in this motel! THE STAFF ARE THIEVES! If you leave anything in the room, donât expect it to be there when you come back. Valuable or not. If you ask to speak with the manager, they just give you the runaround. Pay extra and stay at a nicer place.
