Holiday Inn & Suites Bothell an IHG Hotel

The hall was quiet but in our first floor room I can hear noise from two other rooms. I will NEVER stay here again. It is 1 am and I haven’t slept a wink as the noise continues- it is like it is coming in amplified through a vent. It is awful. I picked this place because other reviewers said it was quiet. I wonder if it is just this room- or maybe all first floor rooms?

This hotel was easy access from the airport. A good location to start our northern Washington road trip. Large room, nice layout gave us room to spread out. Comfortable bed, nice shower and bathroom layout. Included a small breakfast. Nice quiet location in a neighborhood setting

Bedding was comfortable. The suite was spacious enough for 3 adults and 3 children. One adult slept in sofa bed and it wasn’t an issue. Bathroom was clean. We slept well. The kids had fun in their pool. Unfortunately, there was a guest who complained about us. We got in late and the wall is thin so we did our very best to get the kids in bed twenty mins after we arrived. We don’t let our kids run wild but the guest kept harassing us, called us and knocked on our door and floor three times even if it was no longer quiet time. The staff did their best to help us out and called out the other guest’s inappropriate behavior. I thought the staff did what they could given the circumstances. We spent three nights here and even visited the church nearby for Easter celebration. Only downside was there was no breakfast.

Pro: The hotel room has every amenity you would want. There is a bar sink next to a mini fridge, ample plugs and charging outlets on both sides of the bed and at the desk, six pillows, a high quality mattress and good bedding, separated bath/sink rooms that allows for two people to use the bathroom in privacy at the same time, and contemporary decor. There's even a marble sill to the window to reduce mould. The staff was friendly. Aaron the manger personally answered the phone and got me a great rate and the room I wanted. Cons: unassuming exterior, breakfast/ restaurant is closed and not operating, wood frame construction allows you to hear all the talking in the next room. Fortunately I checked in late and did t sleep until midnight so that was not an issue for me.

Hidden jewel for a staycation 20 minutes from home. Front desk staff is always friendly and attentive. They remember me by name and can recall the last time I stayed. The room is extraordinarily spacious, furnished appropriately, and extremely clean. I especially like the rolling pull out desk. and small kitchenette. I look forward to the day. The restaurant bar opens for dinner. I will be back.
