Hotel 116 A Coast Hotel Bellevue

I'd never been to Washington before but I was told Bellevue was a nice part of town so I was expecting more. We were there for a baptism and this placed served us well for one Saturday night but... I'd never stay here for a vacation. Very dirty hotel room I don't think they vacuumed - ever. The sun came in when I moved the drapes and there was so much dust coming off the drapes! . They are stingy with the pillows They only give you two bath towels? Very odd. The towels I have at home are nicer than these, which is odd. Normally hotel towels are nice. The bathroom sink is in the weirdest place....immediately next to the door. Some photos' here show it...yep, that is accurate. Very odd. You can't turn the bathroom fan on without the light on...so after showering at night I had to leave the light on so the fan could run... The room is so small that if the desk chair is occupied the back of the chair almost touches the bed. The room is very dark. The lighting is bad even for a hotel room. There is absolutely zero countertop space and there is only one oddly placed outlet for your hair appliance. You have to pack up your toiletry kit every morning and night (I usually leave some of my items on the counter for the duration of my stay). The hotel is old and in need of updating...there is a popcorn ceiling The room was dirty and small. On the bright side - the front desk staff were very helpful and check in and check out were faster than I'd ever experienced. Parking was free and there was enough of it.

Upon arrival room key didn't work, I had to go back to front desk to re-program. Bad showerhead spraying water sideways. Toilet not flushing - chain to flapper valve broken (re-connected it myself). Very noisy, rumbling AC/heater unit. Strong odor of dog poop at 4th floor elevator area. Dirty elevator with floor indicator broken. Hidden $15 + tax parking fee not listed in booking, not disclosed at check-in, charged after departure. I will not re-visit.

This hotel is located within walking distance from Overlake Medical Center. This is why I choose it. I booked online, which is discounted and checked in early. The room was quiet and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and very caring. There is a $15 a day parking fee but if you become a rewards member it is free. This hotel is also within walking to restaurants and the light rail is across the street. However it only goes from Bellevue to Redmond as of now. I Ubered from SeTac to the hotel which cost me a total of 70 including a tip. There is an Avis across the street so I rented a car. Join their rewards program also and you will get a better rate. Check out is at noon which was great for me. Overall this hotel was very Ideal and I would definitely stay there again.

This little hotel off the freeway in Bellevue was disappointing. I was not told you had to schedule cleaning your room the night before so imagine my surprise coming in after a long day out to unmade beds. The main elevator was down the entirety of my trip. All in all, disappointing. At least it is serviced by Bellevue's free shuttle.

Very high quality, much higher than expected! Glad I had somewhere to crash for the night, but wasn't expecting this level of comfort or luxury! The restroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the coffee was excellent. Staff was courteous and helpful. Thanks!
