We arrived around 11 PM on a Friday night and were greeted by a super friendly and kind lady at the front desk. Her warm welcome made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and the location of the hotel was very convenient. One thing to note is that there is street parking available, but itās based on availability. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again!

Short business stay for a colleague and myself. The front desk team was warm and welcoming, they had us checked in in less than 10 minutes. My standard room was very clean, with a queen bed, chair and light, spacious desk area, TV, coffee station offered two bottles of water (charge for the water) and selection of coffee and tea. Small refrigerator that kept drinks cold. The bathroom with a shower and bottled shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hand lotion was creamy and nice. Great additions were iron, hair dryer, in room safe, ample towels. The bed was a little lumpy, could use a replacement soon, however I had a great night sleep. The location is really quiet. The lobby area had some grab and go items and healthy snacks and some indulgent ones. In the morning complimentary coffee was offered. Off the lobby were some business center stations where you could add your laptop to the screens, printer and small table areas adequate to have a team meeting. Also off the lobby there was a breakfast area in the morning, which we were not able to partake in, and the food looked and smelled really good. Next time I will make more time to enjoy it. Gave only 4 stars, due to a few minor details. The mattress was lumpy on the right side, would suggest a future mattress replacement. When I turned off the lights, I could see light entering from the hall, outlining the door jam on all four sides. Rooms could use a freshen up of paint. Overall, I would stay here again for the great location, friendly staff, and a quiet nights sleep. Next time, would build in more time to utilize the pool, restaurant and other amenities.

Convenient location but the hotel ended up being a letdown. No recognition of my Diamond status at check in. The shampoo dispensers were nearly empty, and the heater was noisy, making it tough to sleep. The restaurant served overpriced fish and chips that was soggy and they didnāt include the slaw that was mentioned on the menu, which was disappointing. The worst part was a power outage with no communication from the staff. No hot water or electricity, and they ignored my attempts to reach out. This was a pretty disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on this visit.

Although a very stylish and modern hotel at first glance, better maintenance is required, especially pool-side: very strong lingering chemical smell, dirty grout, lifting silicone, and wet tiles advertising fungus. We only stayed 15 min. Room was clean, but grout also stained in the showe, and moulding behind the door was loose. Bed very comfortable. Fan was extremely loud (TV volume had to be adjusted 4 levels higher), but after playing with the thermostat, I figured out how to turn it off. Given the great location and staff, the above was easily overlooked. Absolutely fantastic tequila sour at the bar too - just watch out to make sure a tip isn't already charged. I believe i double tipped at 40%. I would stay here again, but would avoid the pool and check over the bar bill.

There was no communication from the hotel that there was a problem. Only communication was them confirming our stay. I in no way blame the hotel stafff. I do wonder why a major hotel chain charging $300 a night for a basic room doesn't have generators and I do blame the major chain for having over a day to let us know they were canceling our multi-night reservation, but not informing us until we show up to check in that evening. There was no damage to the hotel or surrounding area, they were just without power. Booked this months ago, we were unaware of the cyclone that hit the day before, as we were traveling. Again, no actual damage to hotel or area, just no power. My friends down the street at the Hyatt (we were in town for a professional conference) were able to check in to the Hyatt, despite them also not having power. They did have generators, despite being a cheaper hotel nightly rate wise than the Hilton, but they were unfortunately booked out even more months in advance than I booked the Hilton. There was also no attempt by the Hilton to help finding another hotel or anything, even when asked. I would understand a small hotel not being able to inform guests of a cancelation in this scenario, but not a major chain. And when there's no actual problem besides the power being out, I also don't understand canceling on a guest who is standing at your front desk, bags in hand. Do not recommend.
