Upon arrival we were greeted by Venessa, super sweet kind and helpful. Chun offered us extra service when we needed help in our room with vacuuming. Mercedes was a friendly face to come back to every evening , she always had kind welcoming words for us. Manne and Carla went above and beyond with breakfast burritos that had homemade chorizo and eggs. As we checked out this morning Lucia helped us with the redemption of our accrued gift cards she was knowledgeable, efficient and extra kind. Thank you BW Family!!

Very nicely appointed rooms and quiet, comfortable stay. The hotel is near a freeway but the noise is very muted in the hotel. The reception staff was super nice and the breakfast was quite good. They offered to make an egg and chorizo burrito which was delicious. The yogurt machine did not work - but not a real issue. Apparently you can access the pool 24 hours - but we did not use it. Nor did we use the gym but it was better than average (from what I saw) than most hotel gyms. If we are back in this area, this is where we will stay.

We are NOT happy about our over-night stay at Best Western in Auburn, Washington. Had been on the road rock climbing, hiking in Idaho, & traveling to visit family in Washington State. Splurged for a hotel, needing showers, laundry,& relaxing. Paid $205 for a room- pricey for us, but went for it- Best Western is a well known chain, should be good- mistake! First, the room smelled, should have changed rooms : / TV did not work- had to walk to front desk 2x because the hotel phone did not work to call it. Sent maintenance up both times to work on it. Also, the television controller was/still is , super-sticky, both my husband & myself have tried cleaning it! Yuck.. Lastly- there was some loud noise outside our window that happened every couple minutes… (6x or so)..my husband describes it as “sounded like a building was being brought down” A train was not far from the side of our hotel… That went on at “bedtime” hours. Had to warn others to save their money- Go elsewhere for an easy stay!

Check in, AWFUL. Arrived about 630PM and there was nobody to be found. There was nobody at the front desk, no sign to say whoever was supposed to be there had to step away. No NOTHING!! I looked for a bell or something to ring. I called out hello numerous times, and still NOBODY. I even called the hotel and no answer! After close to 20 minutes, I finally started to wander around to see if I could find anyone. I did find someone in the breakfast room eating popcorn. I asked if it was possible to check in and I got a huff!! I got a HUFF from an employee who was not doing her job!! She finally came to the front desk to check me in, only to be followed by another woman who asked the HUFF woman if she needed any help. What?!?! Thirty five minues, yes 35 minutes after my arrival, I was finally checked in. No elite recognition, no info on breakfast, no pool info, no NOTHING!! She didn't even tell me that I had to hike to the elevator which is nowhere near the lobby. Get to my room and it's dirty. I tell myself, this is supposed to be a Best Western Plus. I try to call the front desk to see if I can move to another room and guess what, NO ANSWER!! Went down to the lobby to try and change my room and there's nobody at the front desk. Fine, I'm only here for 1 night, I'll just make it work. I go downstairs to get my luggage and I notice the door to the parking lot (off of the elevator, not the lobby) has no way of locking. So, that's not very secure. And remember, the elevator is not near the lobby. My room was dismal. Dirty, noisy, and not at all comfortable. Breakfast was OK and had many offerings, both warm and cold. Check out was just that, nothing said at all. This hotel is in an industrial area with trucks going in and out at all hours of the night. While convenient to WA18, you can hear the noise from the highway. There are no restaurants, sit down or fast food, that are nearby. I'm not sure how this property was deemed a Best Western Plus!! I would not recommend this hotel, even for 1 night. Too many issues!!

Upon check in, the front desk couldn’t be bothered by getting my family checked in, but rather finishing her non-work related conversation with her coworkers. When we finally did get the room keys, the entire third floor reeked of marijuana, (non smoking hotel), the tv remotes for both tvs did not work, called front desk and she was supposedly sending someone up, never did. There were spiderwebs across the top trim and corners above the master bed, the internet password was all caps on the key envelope and when I called front desk to ask, she acted like I was the idiot cause only the first letter was capitalized. Our room had no towels for showers and again called to front desk and they made us come down and get them ourselves. She made a comment like “oh that’s weird” as if she didn’t believe me the room had no towels. The only elevator had a wet spill that was never cleaned up for the duration of our two days. Staff simply put a wet floor sign inside of it. The ice machine in the hallway beeped for 12 hours straight. Overall this was a horrible experience, one of, if not the worst in any hotel I’ve stayed in.
