Aloft Seattle Redmond

I stayed at Aloft Redmond for 2 nights. The hotel felt new and spacious. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I did not try the food or drinks at the bar as there were nearby restaurants within walking distance so I chose to Uber to a nearby Italian restaurant. I also liked the fact that they had covered parking which had motion detectors and it had a security bar at the entrance. Parking was not expensive compared to downtown Bellevue hotels that have valet. The area itself is in the suburb of Redmond and seemed very safe. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a hotel at this level. Breakfast is at the Element hotel across from it and accessible via skywalk on 2nd floor. It was pretty standard decent quality food and they also had a good omelette station. Will I come back? You bet.

Overall, my stay was good for being a clean room; however, the front desk does not know what they are doing most of the time, very in a rush as far as Customer Service goes, and they seem to constantly be in a battle with the Element’s front desk person. Every night, there were people running up and down the halls at night, the bar/restaurant closes way too early, like the rest of the town, and housekeeping entered my room the last day I was there, even when I had the ‘Do not Disturb’ sign on the door. Definitely could be A LOT better, as these were issues for most of my work colleagues that stayed there as well…. ****Additionally, the Marriott Bonvoy app constantly crashes for me, no one knows why, just the typical response that they recently had issues with the app. Well, it’s been an issue for me for over a month now. My points don’t get added, my previous trips are lost, etc, the app and overall website (I can access) is a disaster!****

Horrible and worst experience ever ! Don’t stay or go to bar being served by bartender allysa ! She is the worst server and hotel employee ever we encountered ! Not only was she rude and unprofessional but she made sure to try to intimidate us and make us feel uncomfortable!! How is that for a bar restaurant in your hotel ! Reached out for a manager and got even worst customer service from the general manager Rashed Kanaan!!! I have never had a manager blow up my hotel and personal cell phone at 7:30am for several calls til we answered !! Avoid this evil place and hotel !! They lied and made up stories to make our stay the worst possible outcome!!!! Never again ! They force you to buy from Their bar restaurant food which is overpriced and crap and horrible quality!!! We were told You cannot bring outside food and beverages and not allowed to have it unless confined in your room! Been all over the world and stayed at 5star hotels and never heard such bs!!! Avoid this place at all cost !! General manager doesn’t know and act like his position but abuses his power trip and control!! The worst hotel we have ever stayed at !!!!!!!

Do not bother with this hotel as they will try and double charge you every chance they get. At the bar, they add 25% tip for you for a "large party" even if you are a party of two people, and if you try and pay with a gift card, they will charge both the gift card and your credit card and then submit fake documents to the credit card company to support their charge. I am a Marriott Amabassador and I have to deal with this (as many others if you check reviews on Marriott.com and other sites) - do you want to risk staying here and deal with fake charges on your company credit card, that's the question.

After 4 phone calls over 4 hours we were finally able to get a pack n play for our daughter. The first room we were given had not been cleaned by housekeeping. Booked a room with two queen beds and got a room with two double beds. Did the job for a place to sleep, but would not rebook or recommend.
