Terrible Experience – DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL! I booked Hampton Inn Pullman, WA because my daughter’s school jazz band trip was staying here. I wanted to be in the same hotel, so even though I booked through Booking.com, I thought it would be straightforward. Originally, my reservation was from 04/16/25 to 04/19/25. However, the school later informed us we no longer needed the night of 04/16. I called the hotel directly on 04/10/25 to modify the reservation, but they told me I had to contact Booking.com since I booked through them. I immediately called Booking.com and spoke with a representative named Richard. He put me on hold, contacted the hotel, and told me the hotel approved my new dates: 04/17–04/19. I even received a confirmation email confirming this change. Fast forward to today, 04/17/25 — after driving SIX HOURS from Oregon to Pullman — I arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, only to be told by the front desk that they couldn’t find my reservation! The front desk got a manager named Sarah, who told me my reservation was CANCELLED yesterday because I “no-showed” on 04/16!! Excuse me??? I explained that I had a confirmation that the reservation was modified! Sarah then claimed the hotel never received any notification from Booking.com regarding the date change. According to them, they still had my reservation for 04/16–04/19, and because I didn’t show up on 04/16, they canceled it! To make it worse, the hotel was now completely sold out. I was furious. After driving all day, I was stranded with no room because of their poor communication (or lies). Sarah half-heartedly offered to call around for other hotels, but at that point, I told her I didn’t need her help — I couldn’t trust anything from this hotel. It didn’t stop there — I then spent over an hour trying to reach Booking.com (which is a nightmare on its own). After waiting forever, I finally spoke to a woman (Fina or Tina?) who said she would contact the hotel. She left me on hold for a long time — then HUNG UP ON ME! No call back. No nothing. So I called again, waited another 15 minutes, and spoke with a man named Alan. Same thing: Alan tried to contact the hotel. Eventually, Alan told me that Booking.com had proof that they contacted a hotel staff named “Phoebe” on 04/10 regarding my date modification. BUT the hotel still denied ever receiving any information, and even claimed there was no Phoebe working there. Seriously? Someone is lying — either Booking.com or Hampton Inn Pullman — but the bottom line is I ended up without a hotel after a 6-hour drive, despite having a confirmed, modified reservation. Hampton Inn Pullman and Booking.com completely failed me. I would NEVER recommend staying here or booking with Booking.com. Neither company took ownership of their mistake, and I was the one left scrambling late at night to find a place to stay. Shame on you, Hampton Inn Pullman and Booking.com!

Wow. This place was perfect in every way and what a Hampton Inn should be. Hotel is modern with large clean rooms and large TV. Front desk staff was friendly and provided shaving cream when I was out. Elevators were fast. Breakfast was good and dining areas were constantly cleaned. This really is the best place to stay in the area.

Cleanest hotel I have stayed in for over 10 years. Spent 7 nights at this wonderful property. I stay in a lot of hotels...4 since March at much higher price points. Wonderful helpful staff. Breakfast offers variety and is 6-10AM. accommodating schedules for all guests. Gym and indoor pool. I felt very safe here.

I stayed this past weekend with my girlfriend and her kids, there were also over 100 high school kids that were bussed up to look at the University. The guy who checked us in and was there at nights was AWESOME. While there were was a LOT of noise, and he was very helpful did as much as he could to help us. My girlfriend also called down quite a few times to request items that she forgot, and he personally brought them up. I wish I could remember his name. The breakfast was okay, but I suppose that's expected with Hamptons. It looked like the first floor was under construction but the lady I spoke to at check out said they were almost done. We will be back, hopefully on a quieter weekend.

We visited family in Pullman over Christmas and the Holiday Inn Express was the most convenient location. We were very pleased! First, the staff at the hotel was terrific! Santina, the breakfast attendant, was extremly friendly and helpful and made everyone feel very welcome. The housekeeping staff was flawless and we enjoyed the Keurig coffee pot in the room plus the fact the heating system worked very well! I loved spending time in the pool and jacuzzi with my granddaughter. Our only complaint might be the overripe breakfast bananas without many fruit options.
