Holiday Inn Express & Suites Prosser Yakima Valley Wine an IHG Hotel

Great hotel large room comfortable bed. Very clean. Staff super friendly. Close to winery cellar door tasting rooms. A little far from centre of town though and restaurants unless you like fast food - that was all close by. Good breakfast variety supplied.

Nice hotel in the Prosser wine area, close to wineries and restaurants. Easy check in, nice rooms and decent breakfast. Would stay again although the hotel is not walking distance to wineries but close enough. Near fast food restaurants and gas station.

Decent hotel next to a large truck stop. Modern design and doesn’t seem very old. Room was generally clean. The rating is because of the lack of customer service and hospitality. As a 20+ yr IHG member I am Loyal to the brand but hospitality seems to be a missing part of the relationship these days. On my check out day I asked for 30 mins extra in the room to pack up and take an important business call. I was essentially told no but was offered a conference room instead. Since I had to pack this was not going to work for me. What was more infuriating to me though is that I was told during this conversation with the front desk staff that housekeeping was already in my room and wondering why I had left stuff in my room? Curious though since it was still before check out and I had a do not disturb sign up in the room. So while the hotel could not be accommodating enough to give me an extra 30 minutes they were more than happy to use MY TIME prior to check out to go into the room to clean it even though I had a do not disturb sign up. Total BS in my opinion. If you are not going to give me 30 mins then stay out of the room until check out. Oh and when I attempted several times to call the hotel to discuss this with the manager no one picked up the phone. It just rang and rang and rang…..no answer.

We don't usually stay at Holiday Inns, and this was an exceptional surprise! The room with two beds and a fold out sofa was very nice and roomy. The windows looked out unto the surrounding hills, very nice. The linens on the beds were heavenly, and seemed very clean and new. Breakfast was great, as was the staff. Our only initial negative was the fact that our GPS took us to Exit 82 and around a loop for some reason. Then when we finally found the hotel we were baffled as to how to enter it. Just know that you have to pass it, and turn into a truck stop first. Other than that, everything else was good.

The hotel is quite new, nice outdoor common area with a BBQ, clean rooms and pool, secure parking for motorcycles, the best continental breakfast and great staff. Kevin Rowekamp went out of his way to accommodate us and for that we are grateful!
