Econo Lodge Ellensburg Near University

We enjoyed the stay here as the hotel is comfortable, clean, air conditioned and easy to find right off the Interstate. We had no issues with noise from the road, so a good sleep is possible. Right within walking distance are a number of eating places and gas station convenience stores. The staff were friendly, and there is a decent breakfast. Overall this is a good place to stop and stay while traveling through the area.

Very dated, needs upgrades not well kept at all. The toilets are extremely low. As well as the sink. The included breakfast was a joke. Basically dirty everywhere inside and out. It needs a complete overhaul. The only good thing we can say, the bed was comfortable.

The Econolodge at Ellensburg was good. The price was fair, their Breakfast good. A little outdated, on the river, location is good, just off the main Highway. Rooms could do with better lighting, dimly lit and the decor dark. Bed comfortable.

This place is outdated! The furniture is old, and bed linen had holes in it. The first thing I did when I got in the room is look under the sheets for bed bugs. Housekeeping came early the next morning before we had a chance to take showers and asked if we needed anything. The next day housekeeping didn’t show up at all so we ended up using dirty towels. We went to the front desk that night to ask for towels and toilet paper so we would have for the next day. The following morning housekeeping showed up early again. The room had no iron. We had to go to the front desk 3 times before we were able to get an iron. Breakfast consisted of coffee, sugar and carbs. My husband asked for a pair of scissors, and the person at the front desk told him he would have to cut what he needed for him. He wasn’t allowed to hold a pair of scissors. Husband was very insulted by that! There were limited TV channels. Internet was slow. The toilet barely flushed. There was little space to move around the room. Prices were increased because it was a big weekend in town. Never again!

Accessible room -would be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair by bed. Bathroom is extra big. Shower chair only, but wand faucet exceptional. 2nd stay in year. Rooms are basic, reflected in lowest price in Ellensburg. IFound them clean, stocked and comfortable overall. Not a 5 star Ritz but not a unkempt property. Is dated but no smells etc. Microwave, refrig -continental breakfast. Parking outside rooms. Pay the extra $100 to stay at another newer facilities if you can't handle basic. Bed was too soft in the Q accessible- but our King bed in May was better. Pillows 3 different sizes, shapes and densities. #iykyk AC /Heater no remote found- but adjusted fine once figured out, standard window type. Flat screen TV
