Suncadia Resort a Destination by Hyatt Residence

I went to the source restaurant for dinner and was greeted by Kyle who promptly poured me a glass of wine at the bar. His professionalism and friendliness made me feel welcome. Mason was a wonderful server who understood the menu and offered alternatives for my tricky stomach. My experience was wonderful after a long day of work. Both of these employees are a wonderful addition to this lovely restaurant’s staff.

Relaxing, beautiful views. An acknowledgment for Garrett, the Bell/Valet who helped us. We’ve never used Valet/Bell before, and didn’t know the etiquette. Garrett was thoughtful, gracious, and informative. Then, when we stayed on our return trip home, he remembered our names and that my husband worked for the USFS. He is a real asset to Suncadia Resort.

We encountered Woody out in front of the swimming pool while renting bikes. He was a breath of fresh air. Friendly, caring, helpful and genuine. We were not asking for help, or using his services but he offered tips, advice, and any help we could use. In a time when real customer service is a rarity without paying exorbitant fees, Woody stands out like a sore thumb. Cheers to you Sir!

Overall, it's a very nice resort with beautiful mountain views. You're taking chances with sleep quality if you're not on the sixth floor. We had to relocate our room due to kids running on the floor above late into the night (parenting isn't what it used to be). As I write this review from our new room, there are kids running above us again. The resort would enhance their image with couples if they had a designated area for families. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Shout out to Patrick for his exceptional service in the dining area!

I have heard of Suncadia for years, but nothing could have prepared me for its breathtaking beauty. It was difficult to leave! Avah and bell staff were amazing at check in. Our server Alicia and our bartenders made us feel like we were at home. Well done, team! Can’t wait to come back.
