Comfort Inn Wytheville Fort Chiswell

The room was really clean and updated. I loved no carpet in the room. The lighted mirror in the bathroom was awesome to be able to put make up on. So many have dark bathrooms that you can’t see in them. We will definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Met my personal requests. Beds were very comfortable, provided a free HOT breakfast. We chose this hotel because of its location right off the interstate. Many food options in close proximity to the hotel. They are also pet friendly.

Nice hotel, still under renovation, but will be very swanky when done. Decent place, nice rooms. Thin walls and floors. Comfortable bed, decent hot water for the shower. Was very busy with ARMY folks there plus locals from recent storms. Next door to the Circle K and other places to eat, right off the highway, very convenient

The whole hotel was very clean, with polite workers. Several areas ( front desk and near elevators on each floor) the air was very fragrant, as though there was laundry detergent open to refresh the areas. Our room was spotless, as was the breakfast area. We did not like that in the bathroom there were no towel racks or hooks to hang wet wash cloths, or damp towels

Well we had a reservation but decided upon entering the lobby not to stay. Pictures are deceptive on the website, and the notion of “under renovation “ wasn’t noticed. we were only inside for less then 10 minutes and the hole in ceiling with a bucket for drips and an empty parking was enough for me . We may have lost our money, but feeling safe and clean are two major boxes to check when traveling and staying in hotels. Go down the road a few miles and stay at the holiday inn express. And although I read the reviews for this property prior to booking and all were good reviews, I must have higher expectations for a place we are paying to stay. This place didn’t feel welcoming at all. It’s a no from me.
