We went for a special getaway for a birthday. it was awesome. the events person at the hotel even put balloons and birthday banners in the room for our arrival, for a small fee. it was awesome. highly recommend. The room was clean and quiet. the bed was comfy. the shower was great and the water pressure was good!!

You get what you pay for! We were looking for something inexpensive but the room was horrible! The carpet in the room was disgusting was afraid to go barefoot. There was no plug by the bed for my cpap machine. The bathroom was the size of a small closet. And the actual closet was a cubby hole. We asked for a room not near the main road and they put us in a room by the road! So as a light sleeper I heard all the traffic. The room was in a block with old bungalows that I thought would be cute! Wrong The whole place needs to be refurbished and cleaned up.

We kicked off our weekend getaway to Williamsburg on Friday at 4 pm, looking forward to unwinding in our cozy hotel room. Unfortunately, the TV wasn't working, and no one bothered to mention it at check-in. The outage lasted 23 hours, ruining our plans for a relaxing night in with pizza and our favorite show. Front desk staff, while semi- polite at first, seemed unbothered by our inconvenience. The Upside: - Comfortable bed - Nice room The Downside: - TV outage with no prior notice - Unhelpful front desk - Forced shopping spree(s) Friday and all day Saturday since we couldn’t just relax in our hotel room (additional expenses) Room for Improvement: - Communicate known issues at check-in - Empathize with guests' frustrations - Offer alternative entertainment options/ gift cards/ other compensation or discounts for significant inconvenience. We're hesitant to book again due to this disappointing experience. Hotel management, take note: loyal guests value consistency and effective issue resolution. This was our 8th stay at this resort and I’m hesitant to say if there will be a 9th.. We expected more.

I have been here multiple times and this year will be my first in a 2 bedroom villa.. love how close it is to Busch gardens and water country .. .going again in October. Are the pools still open and if not when do they normally close for the season?

I have family that stay here when they are in town and I always enjoy visiting them at Westgate! Great location, friendly staff and nice common areas. The front desk is so attentive and courteous. Keep up the good work! It is walking distance to the historic area.
