Overall I thought the hotel was good. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was good and they had hot breakfast(sausage, eggs, waffles, etc). The hotel has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, but no hot tub even though it says they do. I was underwhelmed by the pool and didn't go in as there were no stairs which I need, only a ladder. There was a storm and the closest elevator went out and wasn't repaired during the 2 nights I was there, but they had a back elevator so it was ok. The desk staff was really nice. They have a restaurant called Jolene's which was pretty good for a dive bar and grill. They had live music one of the nights I was there! I would stay here again.

Lost power in the whole hotel for HOURS, hotel did nothing to fix the issue. Hot humid and moldy, cockroaches in room. We had to use our flashlights to walk down scary dark hallway to our room only to find cockroaches running around on the beds and walls. Just save your money and go somewhere clean! The people who work here know about the pests and do nothing about it. We took all pour stuff and left immediately, they had no power still so we went down many flights of stairs in the dark. I told the front desk about the bugs and they just shook their heads like “oh great again?” And didn’t even apologize. I took pictures to show them as well. Waiting for my refund.

This is a budget hotel, and I take the economical price into account. This hotel is extremely dated, which would be fine for the price if they fixed broken items. The shower head only points straight down so you have to practically hug the wall to shower. That said, the bathroom was very clean. The carpets in the hallways are buckled and a trip hazard. They do not air condition the hallways OR the breakfast areas and they are uncomfortably hot. Inside the room, both chairs were broken and unsafe to sit in. The lampshade has stains on it. The "double" beds are more like a twin plus.... My two kids barely fit in one. They give you 3 tiny pillows per bed, smaller than standard size. They were comfortable enough, if not difficult to not fall out of. Thankfully, the in room AC does work. Breakfast left much to be desired (even considering it was continental). The coffee tasted as if they put one coffee bean in for a whole pot (brown water). They had one juice that was unlabeled, and no cold water. The one waffle machine did work, but for a hotel full of guests, it took forever to get one. They ran out of paper plates. The eggs and sausage were your typical continental fare. but the milk for the cereal was not refrigerated, and was scary to use based on the temperature of the room. They also do not even offer cold waterbin the lobby which was disappointing considering the heat of summer. Also, the ehtire hotel has the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Our non-smoking room was ok, but as soon as you enter any common area it is there. Do NOT stay here if you are sensitive to it. Overall, Id say spend a few dollars more for a different hotel.

Why is this hotel not shut down?! It has mold, mold That can cause problems. I pray they renovate fast. They also had ducks swimming in the out door pool. The breakfast looked horrible. The wall paper has mold on it… the toilet ran all night after flushing. So much for a little rest.Hmmm I wasn’t gonna do a review but this bothered me… It was not worth the price $80.00 I paid .

This hotel is a scam. The Clarion is under new management and they are dishonest. My room was paid for before getting to the hotel. The hotel manager at check-in charged my debit card $300 plus dollars and said they credited it back to my account. My bank has not received the refund and it has been over 7 days. This place is also run down, dirty and a disgrace. You will fare better staying at a motel. Beware!
