We needed a clean hotel that had room for 2 pack n plays to be away from each other, a thorough breakfast, and a room with a fridge/freezer for infant food. This place checked all of the boxes except for the fridge/freezer. While it did have that feature, there was so much ice buildup in the little freezer that it we could barely fit anything in there and some of the food ended up thawing out. I know it’s a small detail, but when you’re traveling with food that needs to stay frozen then it makes a big deal. Otherwise I had no complaints and would gladly stay there again (once I don’t need to worry about the fridge/freezer).

Burned out bulbs, 40 watt for the rest, remote didn't work, not enough towels or sheets or blankets or pillows for the number of guests in the suite we stayed in. Have stayed in far better 2 star hotels. Desk clerk was helpful each time we had to call. Everything seemed due to just a lack of interest.

Our first room had a chirping smoke detector, so we moved to another room with the same configuration. We had a reservation for a two-Queen bed suite for three people. The two queens were in a space apparently designed for a King bed. One was pushed against a wall so a second person would have to crawl over the first to get out. The other bed was pushed against the air conditioner. If you sat on the corner of the bed you went to the floor, the box spring was off the frame because, presumably, housekeeping had to drag the beds out to make them. This is a bonehead layout and beneath the standards of any hotel. The room smelled wet and musty, wallpaper peeling away around the tub with a strip of quarter round nailed up to keep it in place. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with the things she could control, but this is a tired hotel in need of some care. We won't return.

The people here are so nice and helpful. Everything is clean and well-cared for. It is in such a great part of town, and I felt safe the entire trip as a woman traveling alone. The TV is not a smart tv, so bring your Roku stick or fire tv. We got one right up the street for $15. This trip was meant to be a stay in the room and relax with my son on a break from boarding school. It was perfect!

Do not go to the one in waynesboro VA! I wrote a more. Complete review about everything that happened on booking.com. Rooms are filthy, no communication between employees and general manager. Regular managers are scared of general manager and general manager parties with guests out back on weekends. Don't bother writing a complaint because general manager makes sure they never make it over her head. This place isn't even up to code building wise and needs to renovated immediately!
