Extended Stay America Suites Virginia Beach

After 7-days I was supposed to have housekeeping service, so on the 8th day without it, Wednesday, I contacted the front-desk and told them and the manager was supposed to be notified. It didn't happen on Thursday so I asked when the manager was in on Friday. Friday morning I explained things to the manager and she assured me that the room would get serviced, but it did not. Friday evening I let the front desk know and was told that she had scheduled it for Saturday. By 5:00 pm Saturday, housekeeping had not serviced my room. What does it take? The kitchen stove top and oven are filthy and the trash bags are too small for the trashcan.

Lots of challenges here. Dirty diapers in our room upon arrival. Not enough towels, no dishwasher soap, no dishes or utensils, no coffee pot, and yet it has full kitchen and dishwasher. The kitchen sink was a constant parade of ants and several cockroaches ran across the floor. Very dingy furniture and just overall outdated. Very disappointing stay but the entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

Came here with my wife and elderly mother-in-law for a one-night stay. We enjoyed the extra space these suites offer, as well as the comfortable beds and general cleanliness. The hallways and stairwells/elevators are a bit shabby, paint peels in a few places, and the breakfast is thin, but all that is factored into the value price. It was worth it for us - we’d happily return.

The building smelled like smoke. The pillows were awful and you had to beg for extra. No linen service. We had to walk our dirty towels across the lot to the lobby to exchange for new ones like we were in some sort of prison camp. Crazy!

Water in bathroom - woke up at 3am to find water leaking from ceiling and wall. Let front desk know at 6 AM (for softball tournament) and asked if we could move to our belongs to a new room or keep them there while they checked out the problem -they did not have anything available and I would not be able to have another room until after three . also we’re not permitted to keep our belongings in the room. So we had to quickly pack up. After a lot of back-and-forth with the gentleman at the front desk he said the might have something come available earlier. No compensation offered. The water had been leaking for sometime as the paint was bubbled all down the wall. Rooms were clean but dated. A bit of an inconvenience as you have to go pick up linens for the pull out and toaster/appliances.
