Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tappahannock an IHG Hotel

I have been before the hotel is nice miss monalisa at the front was very nice. Breakfast was delicious coffee was hot. My room had a not so great smell but I come with spray so it was an easy fix. Location is perfect. Parking was very spacious I enjoyed stay

Prefer this hotel in the area, clean, friendly, efficient check-in, quick breakfast, close to shopping and restaurants, clean. Love the luggage rack built-in bench in this chain and the updated USB and outlets on desk and bedside tables. Comparable prices for area, very close to St. Margaret's School, an hour to Roanoke area and airport, about 90 min to VA beach.

Charges me a $250 smoking fee for nothing. I DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM. THEY THINK THEIR COFFEE SMELLS LIKE SMOKE. Idiots. Now I’m going to leave a bad review on every site imaginable, including a corporate complaint. They STILL have failed to even email a receipt as promised.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Normally, I stick with the Marriott system but had no available choices in the area. This hotel was well kept, the staff was available, pleasant and competent. Coffee was available throughout the day. The morning breakfast seemed poplar with other guest, but I did not try it. Thumbs up for me.

My wife and I stayed here two nights as a short get-out-of-town break. This is everything you would expect of a Holiday Inn Express. The quality is high. Good breakfast, good rooms, good TV, bathroom, etc. Worthy of the price. Good location right on highway 17, but far enough off the road for some quiet. Good place to stay.
