Super 8 by Wyndham Salem VA

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! THE HOTEL ROOM SMELLED, THE SHEETS WERE NOT CLEAN, THE REMOTE WAS BROKEN SO I COULD NOT CHANGE THE CHANNELS. I COULD NOT PUT MY FOOD IN THE REFRIGERATOR BECAUSE THERE WERE DEAD BUGS IN IT. THE A/C SYSTEM WAS BROKEN AND THE SHOWER WAS COMPLETELY STOPPED UP SO BY THE TIME MY SHOWER WAS DONE THE WATER WAS ALMOST UP TO MY KNEES. WHEN I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE ROOM THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED ME AS IF I WASN'T STANDING THERE. THEN IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY $70 SECURITY DEPOSIT. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION STAYING HERE, JUST PICK A REAL HOTEL IN THE AREA THAT COST A LITTLE MORE. I'VE STAYED AT ALOT OF HOTELS AND THIS PLACE WAS BY FAR THE WORST I'VE EVER STAYED AT. THE STATE NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN FOR THE LACK OF SANITATION ALONE.

This was a horrible experience. When checking in a deposit was required of $100 and not refunded for days back to the card. When asked about it employee was very rude about it. It was too late to get refunded our room. When we got to room we heard talking outside and people were just wandering the parking lot all night. Did not feel secure so we videoed our car all night incase something happened. Never had to do this at any place we have ever stayed in the US. Would never stay again

Had to cancel reservations made thru Orbitz 48 hours in advance, confirmed with Orbitz that there was no charge to this hotel… Peter the manager still charged us for the stay on two rooms $450 after telling us that he would never t charge if orbitz did not

NEVER STAY HERE! I booked here for my trip back home after spending the holidays with family. I came around 3am after already paying for my room online (priceline) i then get greeted by the rude guy at the counter demanding a $100 deposit when NO other super 8 i have ever stayed at wants a deposit! And i didn’t have the deposit and priceline doesn’t refund so all i had was ale money in my account and the guy was like “well i take that then” completely rude didn’t want to help me out or try to make the situation better. I then get to my room, holes in the walls, the phone had no information on it and wouldn’t even connect to the lobby, the bathtub and bathroom were completely and utterly disgusting i wouldn’t even let my animals bath there! The ceiling was as also falling down and showed wires and everything, It was the most disgusting unpleasant experience of my life. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND IT TO EVEN MY ENEMYS. I even upload the pictures of the room

never again and will not recommend to anyone. the 2nd worst wyndham ever stayed in. other one was penascoal, fl. we haver listed the greater majorities of all the [poor service and the dirt and the broken fire alarm and so many other things. why do we have to list thema gain?
