Hampton Inn Martinsville

This is an older Hampton Inn. Overall not bad. Rooms and public areas were clean. Stayed in room 400 and it was quiet. There was only 1 towel in our room when we checked in and fridge was dirty. I could never find any luggage carts even though clerk said there were 2 😒. Desk clerk was were helpful providing restaurant suggestions and giving us more towels. Breakfast was on par with other Hamptons.

It's an 'okay' Hampton. Relatively clean, but a little rough here and there. It's expensive and, to my surprise, they do not clean rooms on a daily basis. So if you're staying for more than one night, there's no housekeeping. The lack of daily housekeeping kept me from giving it 4 stars.

Went here for a reunion with family. Check in was awesome Kristi was so bubbly and helpful. This was our third time here and she has always been so welcoming and helpful. She is a real people person and loves to engage and carry on with guest makes the stay so enjoyable.

The check-in process was disorganized and unwelcoming. The staff at the front desk seemed indifferent and lacked proper training in customer service. There was no warm greeting or assistance offered upon my arrival. As a guest, I expected a basic level of customer care and attentiveness. Unfortunately, this was sorely lacking, and it left me and my family feeling undervalued and disregarded as a paying customer, a loyal customer to Hilton brand. I was taken aback by the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior exhibited by the manager during our interaction. The manager tone and lack of empathy towards my concerns were completely unacceptable and reflected poorly on the hotel's management. I will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to others seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Whenever we stay in Martinsville, we've stayed here. Consistently, good service and property. A single elevator, but only 4 floors so no problem. Full breakfast is pretty good, too. Only criticism is the turkey sausage. not a fan on turkey-based breakfast meats.
