We went to visit our child who attend Liberty. We did not stay long but it was a good stay. My younger child enjoyed the outdoor pool. The room was spacious and comfy. Customer service was great! Many reviews mentioned road traffic noise; it went unnoticed. Easy entrance and exit.

Was traveling for work but brought my son and small dog. Room we were originally given smelled like a smokers lounge. Called front desk to ask about switching rooms and was told they were sold out. My son has asthma and pretty severe allergies and we tried to tough it out but it was just too bad. Finally, after a change of shift, a young lady at the desk asked us to give her until midnight. If someone didn't show up for a room she would move us. Fortunately, we were moved to an accessible room and able to get a little rest before heading out early for work event. It was a miserable experience still for my son who coughed and sneezed the rest of the night. Our bags still smelled of smoke when we got home. As a non-smoker, I know I can be sensitive about smoke but this was extreme and compounded by the strong smell of air freshener used to try to cover it. When I say it smelled like an old smokers lounge, I am not exaggerating. The hotel seemed clean and workers were nice enough but I will never stay here again. I am a Titanium level Marriott Rewards member and am so disappointed in this experience. Someone should have been fined for smoking in the room and it should have been aired out and cleaned more thoroughly to get rid of smoke smell. It should not have been used for guests. I have been waiting to receive a survey request but none has come so I jumped online to write a review. I did get extra points for the hassle but 2000 points is not enough to make up for lost sleep and the medical side effects for my son. Breakfast the following morning was busy and picked over because of large groups in the hotel and just topped off an unsettling experience.

While the room and commons/breakfast areas were clean, and the front desk folks were friendly, the lack of racks for hanging wet towels in the bathroom was a real problem, particularly since hotel policy is changed - no daily maid service. Other deficiencies: no freezer space in the mini fridge, a very noisy bathroom fan, and a teensy trash can. We've stayed in other Marriott properties where these issues didn't exist, and it seems like they all could easily be solved. All of these minor issues could be ignored if we hadn't paid well over $200/night for the room.

The rooms on the front side of the building are noisy. The many semis on route 29 (Wards Road) use their air brakes all night long. Our white noise app was no match for the road noise. Aside from that, our stay was standard for a Spring Hill. Cookies on checkout were a nice touch.

This is the second year I have done a group booking for our regional annual church conference and for the second year we can say, Springhill Suites was a great choice. They are easy to work with and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Even though that weekend was a fully booked weekend for them, the staff was attentive and every need we had was met in a timely manner. We highly recommend using SpringHill Suites for your next group booking. Jonathan Sweet, general manager, and his staff will not disappoint!! Tonya Anders, The Church of God
