Days Inn by Wyndham Farmville

The staff as very nice and helpful. It was only a one night stay. The room was clean, but when I entered, the HVAC was turned up to 90 degrees. The outside temp was almost 80 degrees. I adjusted the temp and opened the door of the room, and it cooled down. I was not able to stay for breakfast.

Family travel; 2 adults and 1 youth. Dropped in to the area for a conference at Longwood University and stayed for one night (Friday) and checked out early the next morning (Saturday). We were very pleased to spend the night in a clean room on the second floor facing out to the rear of the building. Our room was cozy and toasty despite the very low nighttime temperatures outside - a welcome relief! There is a refrigerator in room and it's a decent size. The beds were very comfortable - so were the pillows. Clean bathroom. Clean floor throughout NOTE that the floor isn't carpeted so it's probably easier to keep clean. After a quiet and comfortable nights rest we were able to fill up on a good breakfast some waffles, bagels, coffee and juice at 6 a.m. PERFECT since we had to leave NLT 7 a.m. This motel was affordable, accommodating clean and the staff were friendly. The parking lot is well lit and we felt safe as a family staying here. Very pleased with our stay at Days Inn, Farmville.

This hotel lacks accommodations for physically handicapped, No elevator or handrails on both sides to access 2nd floor, no ramp. Additionally, the rates for 2 rooms varied from $142 to $260 for 2 nights even though both rooms were booked at the same time with 2 queen beds. Both occupants had AAA and Wyndham Rewards. One of the rooms had a strange “odor” and the occupants had to relocate to another room. Upon calling for the discrepancy in charges, the clerk indicated a receipt was signed with charges. However, each party was given a receipt to sign without knowledge of the different charges. The receipt was signed and the clerk kept it. No receipt was given to the customer.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. Each time the room has been clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows are new in the bathroom is clean. There are dining options and a Walmart nearby, but the hotel is far enough out of the center of Farmville that it is quiet.

When traveling for my profession, it's very important to find clean, updated and reasonably priced accommodations. This is surely one of them in Farmville, VA. Additionally, the bright security lighting on the property made my feel safe. Would stay again!
