The hotel and rooms were clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Plenty of towels. The staff friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast selection and options for our entire family. View of the river and a walkway for morning jog. Will definitely stay here again.

Great experience from checking in to checking out. The night agent was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable and clean. The room was supplied with practical creature comforts. I slept well and enjoyed the evening.

We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn on the Dan River. HIE is one of our "go-to" hotels when traveling. One of the highlights here was our picnic by the river on their nice outdoor deck. Our stay was exceptional. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay again if we need a hotel in this area.

Great visit- traveling (towards VA Blue Ridge parkway and MD) and stopped at this pretty spot along the river. New, beautifully clean, very friendly and professional staff, we will plan on stopping here again as we often travel between MD and Atlanta. (Excellent breakfast too!)

Hotel was very clean and really quiet. Comfortable beds. Biggest thing we liked was there were no cleaning chemical smells in the room. Nice size room and we had with a view of the Dan River outside the window. Quick and friendly check in and out. Very good breakfast, love their sausage gravy and biscuits. Only a couple miles from the casino. Definitely recommend staying here.
