River Edge Inn

Absolutely amazing stay, best place for being able to walk and not have to worry about traffic, the staff was extremely friendly and polite, Abigail was phenomenal and very straightforward with how the hotel would be if service. Will stay here again 100%

We made a quick anniversary trip to Gatlinburg, TN. We stayed at River Edge Inn and was pleased. Room was very clean and comfortable. Nicely updated. Very conveniently located but off the main drag. Quiet and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

The room is a bit dated but that should be expected when it’s considered a boutique hotel. But my husband and I loved it! The fireplace was awesome and well as the jetted tub. Location is great! You can walk to the strip without having to pay for parking. The lady at the front desk was very helpful! We will be back for sure!!

The staff has been fantastic. Very accommodating, friendly, patient with our kids and family! The rooms are comfy and love the access to a private patio area! You also cannot really beat the location! We will have to come back when the pool is open next time though!

First impressions of this entire hotel is in a state of disrepair and overall sad and dirty. I was willing to overlook that as sometimes the rooms have been remodeled and it’s a work in progress. It appeared that some repairs were completed in the room, but it was done sloppy and clearly. The wooden style floors showed dust and dirt, the night stand had a layer of dust that I could run my finger through, there were “decorative” pillows on the bed that likely could have never been cleaned. The pillows appeared balled up like someone recently slept on them, there was bugs crawling on the ceiling and the worst of all the large soaking tub had standing water in it. I immediately felt disgusted when we entered the room as it had that smell of cleaning products trying to cover stink and filth. My husband went to the front desk and they reported they were aware of the tub leaking and did not have another honeymoon suite to swap us into. My husband let them know we wanted to cancel our reservation and it was reported that we would pay for that night but get back to us about an amount to be reimbursed and that was 4 days ago now. There has been no communication from the hotel. There are very nice hotels near by that are cheaper in cost. This place is awful.
