Tru by Hilton Radford VA

Stayed here on a overnight trip to Florida. Hard to find location at night with poor lighting in the area, Friendly staff, comfy beds, clean, kids daycare center decor, 24 hour coffee advertised(not), full breakfast was disappointing with limited items. Pool is very small. Best for a overnight road trip stay- Good value.

These Tru by Hilton Hotels are gems. Newer with colorful, modern minimalist decor. The hotel was clean which is our primary standard in choosing a hotel. The bed was comfortable, shower was nice and hot, linens were absorbent, breakfast buffet was typical fare.

Very nice hotel. Convenient to interstate, but traffic noise wasn't a problem. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. Check in and out was very convenient, with digital keys. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for one night during a stopover for a work trip. I stayed in the hotel across the street previously & would definitely pick Tru over that hotel. The Tru was clean. The hallway & my room smelled of cleaning products and was initially a little overpowering. I had to turn the fan on high to run constantly to drown out the noise from the road and the toilet that ran every few minutes. A room on the back side of the hotel would likely have alleviated the road noise. I liked that the room did not have carpet. There are dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Breakfast is complimentary, but was nothing special. I’d stay here again if in the area, but would choose a room on the back side of the hotel.

I had a great experience with my stay at this Tru hotel, thanks to Shante, the gal working the front desk; she was friendly, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. As a Diamond level member who's stayed at many Hilton hotels, this is the first time I've been compelled to write a review because of exemplary service. Shante, you're an awesome person, keep on being you.
